Renovated, pics are not accurate
As of this post, the River Suites have been renovated to practically match the renovated Cove suites w/ the exception of the River Suite being a tad bit larger, obviously a guaranteed river view, and the tub is jetted vs the Cove Ste having a basic tub. They are well furnished, just pay attention to any vibrations around the mini-bar if you use the cabinet or dresser as it is one of the sensor activated ones being used now.
