This will be my first cruise, bringing my gf with me, she’s not much of a drinker but will have a few, is the drink package worth it? What are the prices of beer, mixed drinks, soda, coffee and juice?

You should check out cruisecritic.com if you are a new cruiser. Plenty of cruise information there and specifically go to the MSC board. You can read without registering. From what I'm hearing, the drink packages on MSC are not that expensive and well worth it. Unlike the majority of cruises, this line pretty much charges for most drinks, including non-alcoholic ones. The best drink package even includes the mini-bar drinks/snacks in your stateroom as well as gelato if you are on the Seaside. Make sure your room rate does not already include a drinik package, though.
Congrats on your first cruise! I hope you LOVE it!
If you booked the comped cruise through URComped you'll get free drinks when in the casino. Just attend the casino cocktail reception on the first night (they'll give you a letter in your stateroom with details). When you're there they'll give you a sticker to put on your players card so the servers in the casino know you get free drinks
Have a great time let us know what you think!
Yes I got the cruise through URcomped! Good to know about the sticker! Was told free drinks in the casino. We are on seaside, it’s 385 for deluxe all inclusive drink package and 329 for the classic but we need to buy 2 for both in room. My girlfriend isn’t much of a drinker. Not sure paying $700+ Is worth seeing she doesn’t drink a lot
Do you have to be playing in the casino to get the free drinks with the URComped free drinks offer?
My husband and I are going on a URComped cruise on the Seaside also. I'm wondering if when in the casino, can we order drinks from the bar without having to be playing at the time, or are you only allowed to order a drink while you are playing?
