Currently have a trip booked for December. Will be staying 5 nights at the new “SLS” casino. Anyone have tips on where to go. My game of choice is blackjack and I’m expecting to bring $2500-5000 to play around with.

Where to go for? Food, drinks, shows? SLS is pretty far north but the monorail can take you all the way down strip to the MGM grand. If you are compd with SLS then play there.. but if not then you can explore to see where you like the best. I love Caesars/Bellagio/Cosmo for my favorite casinos for style and location. Have fun and good luck
Thanks. I’m not comped so I plan on moving around until I find someplace I feel comforatable in. My Ma has gone to Vegas every year for about 30 years now. She has tried pretty hard to get me to focus downtown. Her favorite is The D. With so many places wish I had made the trip for longer than just 5 days. But I take off right after Christmas. I will let you know the results when I get back. Than in June I have my first 7 day cruise through carnival to start getting excited for.
Loved the SLS in my last stay, it’s almost like a private casino, they have games from 10$ to 100$. And it has a clean modern feel
If your staying on the Strip I'd go with the nicer casino's, stay out of the older worn out joints. Do some research and check out the casino's websites you may be interested in. If you play blackjack be careful and stay away from the 6-5 games.
So update I forgot. Lost 15k in less than 70 hours. Drank so much my liver is still mad at me months later. And had the best time of my life. The airline I booked the package through messed up our hotel so we had no hotel when we arrived and it was March madness and saint patty’s day weekend so it was nuts but ended up having allegiances airlines get us a suite at the golden nugget for no extra cost. Never even made it to the strip. Lost all my cash and had the time of my life downtown and can’t wait to one day go back. About 5 years from now after I get over the financial ass kicking I took this past year 😂 but all in all loved it. The Main Street and THE D and golden gate are my top places by far
Also if your trying to earn the most in casino comps and you play tables play double zero roulette and make sure that before you play get the pit boss that writes down your play sees your big bets or they will just go off of what ever they see you play and who's to say it's the one time your not playing 30 or 40 but only ten so make your first bet he sees a big one then you can bump it down a notch when he walks away because he is just gonna give you a average for time spent on table and what ever bet he saw you play . I went from being a gold tear all the up to a president in one night!!

What happened to the "$2500-$5000 to play around with" ?
Hope you got some decent comps after dropping that kind of money downtown of all places.
