I got the 10000 points for a free interior room for two. Have to do cruise in a year. I played 2-3 hours a day. Mostly slots. I thought it was  a small casino for the size of the ship. I lost more than the cost of the free cruise.

I see it was on Seaside, that's one I'm considering! It was a good experience it seems? Thanks.

I just did the Seaside in June.  I was very impressed.  I have been platinum on Carnival for several years and it still takes me 45min to an hour to check in.  I was in line with MSC for 10 minutes!! I was checked in and on board!! Service was GREAT!  Ship was beautiful.  There is 5000 people, but we never felt crowded.  I feel crowded on Carnival at times, but all week on MSC was amazing.  I have pretty much decided MSC is my new cruise line.  Oh, and did you know that when you receive a free cabin on MSC, it includes everything.. such as taxes and port charges.  Carnival still charges you for those!.  I hit my 10,000 points and my partner did as well, so we will be traveling again on MSC in the next year.

we just came back from RCI Oasis and earned a free cruise for an inside cabin, still have to pay for the taxes and port port charges.  Do you get free drinks in the casino on MSC while playing if booked thru URComped? We are considering giving a try with MSC and the Seaside is an extraordinary vessel.

Did the casino felt crowded? On the Oasis, in the evening (after 8pm) you had to put your name on a wait list to get a seat at the UTH tables and 3-card poker (only four in total / two on each side of the smoking/non smoking section).  I don't recall it was that busy on NCL Epic either...

Thanks for your input!

See, that is something I do not see said anywhere. No one mentions how much they lost, only how many points they got. More people need to say how much they lost, or took to lose to really help the new people determine value of losing to what free comps they acquire for those losses.

Example of "I lost more than the cost of the free cruise." is important. I mean we all hope we will win, but new people should be able to get an idea of what to possibly expect in losses or how much they need to budget for gambling in the attempt to earn comps.

Needing 10000 points at $2.50 a spin per point does not mean someone needs $25000, but they may very well lose $5000 (80% return) trying to get a $750 dollar cruise.

Another thing not always clear to new people is still have to pay for the taxes and port port charges.

Also What needs mentioned more is what other benefits there are in using urcomped besides the ability to play at new places. Like "Do you get free drinks automatically when using urcomped" and things of that nature.
