We just did our first URComped cruise on RC, Rhapsody Of The Sea out of Tampa. We have cruised 35 times with Carnival, so we jumped ship to go with URComped. Lexie was the greatest working out all the details for us. The ship crew, shows, meals was outstanding. The casino staff was outstanding also. We like the smaller ships and The Rhapsody of the Sea was just right for us. I am a Craps player, so I just want to give all other craps players a heads up. Unless you bet $25.00 on the pass line you can only play single odds. Out of all the casinos I have played in counting Carnival this was the first time I have ever see this done. This really hurt my way of playing. This is nothing against the casino of it's staff. This is a Casino Royale rule. Just this one rule increases the house odds nearly 1% with each loss of the player. And over a seven day cruise it cut into my winnings.

Is there a minimum bet requirement on the blackjack tables? Also, how much time in the casino is expected on a 7 day cruise?
I play very little blackjack but I noticed there was different mins on each table. I try to play four hours per day to keep my rating up. On this cruise there was very few crap players so I couldn’t play as I wanted to do.
What was the pass line minimum? I'll play double odds on $15 pass line (and that is pushing the limits with my usual buy-in) but $25 is steep if you are backing with a come bet and/or placing 6/8.
Also, would they let you up to $30 odds if the point was 5 or nine?
The table min is $5. Pass line min is $5 with single odds. Double odds can be bet on a $25 bet.
I found RC to be different than my home at Carnival (60+ cruises) but the URCOMPED price was right so we switched teams. We were on the Adventure of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale. Getting on the 1st time was smooth and without trouble, RC seems to be able to handle crowds quite well so I will give them an A+ on Departure. Finding our cabin was snap when you use their information screens near the elevators A+ . The dining experience was above average at all their venues although we found Chops Grille a little too pricy and cold for the money. B The main dining room on deck 3 was spectacular and the service staff were truly helpful and attentive A I took off a + because their table bread was not warm and cozy. Our cabin was clean and seemed roomy and the stewards were great . A+
The casino was decorated really nice and was clean. I did notice that one of the dealers was usually wiping down the wood work rather than dealing. Daytime was dead even at the machines which were dated and old style. Access with your sail and sign was limited. They had 3 roulette wheels 1 Craps table and numerous BJ tables. The Craps table was closed most days until after 8pm due to lack of dealers I was to,ld so getting 4 hrs a day was difficult. The Craps rules were numerous with their adamant requirement to hit the back wall with both dice the most bothersome. I will admit that they actually called a no roll on sveral 7 s which shocked me. Their minumum was $5 with a $300 max, single odds till $25 then may double, $50 pass you could bet 3,4,5 odds but have the dealers explain it anyway. Craps table was never busy enough to open both sides and had roomy positions. The rating was also hit or miss. I played my 1st 2 hours and over heard that the computer was down, bummer. To make PRIME (this is their designation for when the Angels sing) you have to earn 2500 pts on the machines or tables but table play is computed differently but I was never able to get a straight answer. PRIME gets you free drinks and the privilege of charging your play without a 5% service fee. I would have to give the RC casinos a B mostly due to their dull atmosphere. Getting drink service also seemed hit or miss with a lackadaisical attitude of most of the servers. C-
OVERALL I WOULD GIVE RC AN A--.
