nice two days
stayed at the Hilton Luxor for two nights which was lovely. smooth check in and good service from the concierge.
Took the half board option with the suite which was a good deal. Breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast was excellent. to be honest I have yet to see in Egypt a better offering than what Hilton is presenting.
Service was also very good through out. However perhaps due to the heat the service is a little lapse around the pool.
The Asian restaurant could do with some help regarding their food. The base ingredients of meat and fish was good, however the taste could be better. If one does south east Asian food you need to have all of the ingredients at hand to do it correctly and I believe this would be a challenge in Luxor.

ps forgot to say that reservations were very helpful and that the cruise boats are running their engines on diesel which at times is blowing fumes to near the pool.

It's excellent, no doubt. On first glance you might be tricked into thinking that the room is well priced but if you choose to eat at any of the restaurants inside the hotel you'll be charged around the same amount of money for a night at your room. I guess that's how they make their dough. Anyway, highly recommended, amazing quality and luxury, just go eat somewhere else.

I stayed in other 5 star hotels in Egypt: Helnan in Aswan and Le Meridien in Cairo. Hilton Luxor was the highlight of my hotel stays. Although customer service was excellent in all three and breakfast was comparable same quality, Hilton exceeded in the quality of room provided. The other two felt like it was living in their past glory. So I hope Hilton continues to adjust and update the rooms to reflect renovations that make clients feels that they are getting the value of money spent.
I wished I would have stayed more than one night to truly enjoy this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Hilton did not disappoint.

It's one of the best hotels ever. The staff is amazing. All of the employees are very well trained, smiling, helpful and professional. The view, hotel design, amenities and food are all exceptional. Luxor is a must visit and unique city with 1/6 of the world's historical heritage and this hotel is the best in the city.

Everything you want in a hotel. Great location with views of the nile yet quiet, wide selection if good food at decent prices, exceptional service with genuine smiles, comfortable beds, good showers. The one small mistake was taking down a restaurant order incorrectly which the staff swiftly recorded and provided complementary drinks. Stay here. Highly recommended.

The Best in Luxor
Enjoy the different type of rooms and suites, with either King size bed or twin beds. The resort offers standard rooms with garden or Nile views, or indulge yourself in one of our Deluxe rooms with large balconies. All our suites feature state of the art furnishings and amenities with splendid garden or Nile view.

Blown away by the service here, the staff were amazing! Right down to when we were going into the pool not 30 seconds later we would have a towel beside our clothes ready for us! The food here is pretty good but it's expensive for what it is and can be as good as the food outside. I'd say it would be better to explore outside for dinner but breakfast is amazing!

Checked into Spa Suite which had a very high standard of in room facilities serviced by the Spa support team. The in room decor and finishing was of a high standard, everything worked well. The breakfast was vast, with a great deal of choice and high quality ingredients. It's a very well kept Hilton with lovely views of the Nile throughout the day and particularly during sunset period. The shuttle bus into town centre was very useful. It wasn't a very busy hotel which resulted in a very attentive service from the staff who were always professional and flexible. Strongly recommended if staying in Luxor.
