Hotel Francis is located near Parque Colón and the ruins. It was the first place I stayed when I decided to visit the dominican republic. Being so near to zone colonial and being able to experience walking around and seeing the historic buildings were a plus. The staff was friendly, and the hotel hosted a wedding reception as well which was amazing to be a part of. This hotel was one of the main reasons I fell in love with Santo Domingo. It's currently undergoing renovations and I can't wait to see what it looks like when they are done.

The place is great no doubt. Everything is close to everything. You need booze?, stop by the bar, craving for pho? Its near the casino floor. Would come back here again. I cant really say anything bad about the place because everyone was very courteous and nice

Wonderful hotel staff, great location, Spa is wonderful and their people really care!!! Great restaurants too from The Grille to Vic and Anthony's Steakhouse, DELICIOUS ??. The rooms need a little maintenance but the housekeeping staff has been so accommodating. I'm so happy we stayed here and will definitely be back next year ??.
