Was not a big meeting so plenty of space to wander about. Decent selection of food and drink. The bookmakers inside the main area could be better but that is an issue for the more serious punters!
Good view no matter where you were and there are activities for the kids too to keep them occupied. Entry was cheap too.

Had some amazing days here with rock and metal festivals. Never really been into horse racing which it's most popular for but I'm sure it's all good if it's your thing.. but it's a nice place for huge events and easy to get around. Look forward to the next event

I was there attending to the Download Festival 2019. Very big open space and well organized. Amazing bands and a good dose of metal. Really nice experience 👌

Excellent venue for Download 2019
Event staff were great, right to the end. Layout of stages made for plenty of in between room. Lay in the grass, grab a table and chairs, head over to any one of five stages, or brave their mosh pits.
A good variety of food again spread out well, and plenty of bars, though maybe some "cash" accepting tills at all bars would be good. Some of us planned ahead with a cash budget!

Home of the Melbourne Cup and other major horse races in Melbourne. Excellent racetrack, beautiful gardens. Easy entrance and exits. Ample car parking. Close to the airport in case you want to visit down for the day. The stands are comfortable and provide great views of the race.

A must see for any fan of horse racing in Australia. A good time to visit is late October to early November for the spring racing carnival which includes the Melbourne Cup. Drink Alongside 130,000 screaming fans as the worlds richest staying race is held on the first Tuesday in November. Other big races held on most Saturdays throughout the year.

I have been attending race day's at Flemington for over 5 years now. There is a great variety and staff always go above and beyond. It's an enjoyable day out.

New stand looking incredible and whilst that is underway the VRC Staff are going out of their way to ensure Members and guests still have a great experience when they attend despite the more limited space. Shout out to Jon who was manning one of the rear (away from the track) balcony doors who kindly offered myself and my pregnant partner a glass of water whilst we sat and snacked - not his job but he was happy to look after all of the patrons around him above and beyond expectation. We were also shown through and allowed to spend a few races in the Terrace and all of the staff there were also super helpful - Flemington Racecourse is an institution steeped in history and tradition that also knows how to modernise and make members young and old feel valued.

Awesome spot for concerts not to mention the Formula One Grand Prix!! With trains right to the gates of the venue (Melbourne public transport is just amazing!!) you can go here even when the crowds are big, and not have any great long waits! 'Well done' to the organisers of these events!

Best place to hang out and watch the horse race carnival with a nice lunch & a beer it's awesome to experience the race track day outs spending it with friends and family out on a bright sunny day's with heaps of bettings and picking the number's for the horse race which is fun to look at!
