A relatively small casino with a decent selection of newer slots. However, I couldn't find some of the classics I usually like to play.
The lodge had a beautiful check in area, but the rooms have definitely seen better days. The bathroom especially had a lot of wear and the carpet of our room was in rough shape. Reasonable rates, though.
A great experience. Very relaxing, affordable, and has very helpful staff. Highly recommended and it's worth the drive from Milwaukee for a quiet weekend getaway. However, stock up on snacks and drinks in Ironwood or Ashland as the grocery store here is pricey.
The hotel beds are poor, lumpy and uncomfortable, poor quality pillows. The shower head was so old that water didn't even spray decent. The food was hardly edible at the buffet. The only decent thing to eat was prime rib. Everything else was either cooked to death it bland. The halls between the hotel and the Casio are dirty and stink to high heaven.
