The Twenties Steakhouse

It was a nice hotel. Didn't have much as far as entertainment but it reminded me of the sixtys the way the style and decor was. They host a lot of events there including boxing which is always entertaining. The tickets were reasonably priced and seats were good no matter where they were. The roof bar was also a nice atmosphere for a small group and a beautiful view when you step out into the deck.

bed bugs and other little guys crawling around in my room and the halls of the hotel!! I killed the first bedbug I seen after freaking out and called an attendant. The second night when I seen another, I called management but it crawled away by the time management came in. You can take pics and/or video but call management for them to come see it with their own two eyes. Trap the bug if you can. Otherwise, they will deny there was anything present in the room. They will suggest having an inspection, it will come back negative. And you will NOT be compensated for your lack of sleep, anxiety and stress, bug bites, and/or displacement. I was placed in two other rooms after 1am of my checkout day. The first room had a broken door that would not close. The second room had cracks in the walls and a squeaky bed. According to the hotel that was enough compensation. This hotel is historical. That is all. Don't waste your time here as you can get nice views from other hotels on the boardwalk. I give thanks everyone hasn't had the horrible experience I had, but it is totally not worth the money unless you can stay for less than $100 a night. Spend more and stay somewhere else more accommodating and honest! Don't believe me, check the other bad reviews. You will see similarities

Nice hotel, but they only had two people working at the desk when we checked in. I know it’s the off-season, but shouldn’t a hotel be prepared to help all of its guests? Also, the pool said that no kids were allowed past 10pm, but it didn’t seem enforced at all- just wanted to have a relaxing time with my girlfriend. We called the front desk, about it. So many kids in there, it seemed almost dangerous with that amount. Also, the majority of these reviews are negative, and all the responses from the “owner” were just copy and paste replies. Do they even care? Where is their “Yes I Can!” attitude they speak of?? Maybe they will if I contact the Better Business Bureau. Not staying here again, and if you’re reading this, stay at the Resorts instead, not here.

It's a historic hotel which saves it from a lower star rating. Coming in from the self park garage there aren't any signs directing you to where the elevators are to the rooms. So we ended up walking around a seemingly abandoned floor before going down to the ground level. Our room was nice. Very large and a lovely view. When we first checked in we were told that the King beds we're booked up despite having reserved one. When we told him this he "found" a room available. One of the nightstand lamp's plug didn't work. The room has two connecting rooms with one of the doors next to the bed. This wouldn't be a problem had the neighbor not held a 1 or 2am phone call and slammed his doors. The bathroom is a little small. There was a light by the switch that was VERY bright and visible from the bed. The grout also didn't appear to be finished. It was messy and unappealing. The location is ideal though. It's a short walk to the boardwalk and near a lot of casinos an restaurants.

The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The place does not have their own casino like many other hotels along the boardwalk, but I actually appreciated that. It made the place feel like a nice retreat from the noise. The building has directly connected access to Bally's casino for when you are feeling lucky. The 1920s theme/vibe was pretty interesting too!
