Beautiful property and gardens, and cool but well maintained pool. Great food in the restaurants, but the gem was Leslie at the front desk. He was SO helpful and courteous.

I have ti say that the first impression that I got was not that good because I prefer modern style and modern hotels but then I have been appreciating it during my stay. Let’s start with the many PROs: amazing pool, nice open areas and very nice park to walk in the vegetation of Costa Rica. The breakfast is included and is really good, with a big variety of products from sweet to salad. Another big pro is the closeness to the airport and to the city center. They have also shuttle to and from the airport. The lowlights are that the room are quite old, it’s a kind of time machine. Overall I enjoyed it!

Everything was EXCELLENT!!!! Wasn’t too far from the city. Clean rooms with two beds, lamp, nice view of the city, a safe, a wine bar, and robes. In the bathroom had a hair dryer, a glass tub, clean mirrors, and a glass sink. As soon as you left the room, the housekeeper would come and fix up everything!!!,

Truely excellent hotel. We had such a good time there whilst in Costa Rica. Pros- Friendly staff who mostly all speak great English and Spanish, Amazing variety of food for breakfast, so much to choose from, Large pool with poolside seating and hammocks, Super clean rooms, comfy bed, plenty of amenities in the bathroom, free shuttle bus to and from the hotel. Cons- the positioning of the hotel means you can't really walk anywhere. It's surrounded by highways so you'll need to get a taxi wherever you want to go.

It’s my family’s first time in Costa Rica. The room view was disappointing—but at least there’s a balcony to stare at the roof. The gardens & pool are wonderful. The staff is mostly nice, except the one at the gym. I was trying to figure out some machines and trying to ask for help— he said he doesn’t speak or understand English and pretty much went about his business and tried to ignore me. Most places will at least try to help the guest or get the front desk person to help. I managed to put as much Spanish as I could muster “Ayudarme, no comprende la machina Por favor. Mira por favor.” So he finally decided to come look. I just hadn’t pulled a knob far enough up. Aside from that, room service is great. The kids love the variety of options for the breakfast and dinner buffet. The artwork on the walls are nice too.
