This review is a 2 borderline 3. And the only reason it was given a 3, because their staff was extremely nice in all parts the hotel and casino. I Was a little disappointed in the Hotel, upon check in, You had to read this long policy about their no smoking in the hotel. Which I'm fine with as I don't smoke. When I got to my Room the 1st thing was the entire Room smell like smoke. And bathroom was still dirty from the sink to its sticky floors. The 2nd Room was better. The hotel seems to be going through some changes or at least trying to keep it together. Unfortunately little patch jobs don't give you the kind of experience you're looking for from a classy hotel. Thank you to the staff.

We have stayed at the Belle of BR every January for the last six years for the Artemis Soiree’ at the River Center right across the street. From the cashier at check in to the guys who help me with my luggage, everyone is quick to help and always smiling! This year Kevin helped us with our luggage and made us feel like we were your only customers. Cassie at check in helped keep our families together on the 9th floor and with seven rooms she did a great job.

If I could write this review with zero stars, I would. This place is the absolute worst. The casino staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. My husband and I waited an extra hour in the morning to spend the food credit that we earned only to find out that something was wrong with the fryer. When we stated that we only wanted sandwiches, they couldn’t do that either. The reason behind it was because it wasn’t sanitary. They had “no water to clean with.” The waitresses rarely come around for drink orders, and if you want something simple, like a coke or water, they will direct you to a place to serve yourself. If you want an alcoholic beverage, you can watch them stand around and gossip for 15 minutes before someone finally makes a drink. One of the bartenders was extremely drunk and obnoxiously yelling out that she was going to beat the f*** out of someone. I can go on and on about the unpleasant experience and rude staff. There was one thing good about this place and it was the hotel bar. The guys there were so nice, the food came out quick, and after waiting 2 hours in the casino, we got to spend our food credit.

I am here for a conference, so my experience is with the hotel and the conference center. I am only giving two stars because of the location. The room was smaller than I expected, especially the bathroom. I was also underwhelmed that there was no breakfast... only snacks to be purchased at the gift shop. Both the room and the public areas of the hotel and the conference center were poorly maintained. Although some of the staff were helpful, there was any overall attitude of indifference. If I were not staying here to be under the same roof as my conference, I would not stay here. There are many better choices available.

Wife and I stayed at the Belle in April of 2018 to attend a concert a few blocks away. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet part of town. We felt safe and relaxed in the area, and enjoyed some nice walks along the river, as well the surrounding streets. The hotel itself is very nice. The gated parking is great and it gave us peace of mind that our car was safe. In fact, we didn’t even see our car for our entire stay because we had no worries for it’s well being. The hotel is very clean, our room was nice and spacious, the staff are helpful, and pleasant. The atrium is beautiful, as well as the big lobby. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We look forward to staying there many more times in the future. A nice, quiet, safe, place to stay and relax with no worries.

Fun place. Didn't get to try the food. Would love to be there for an event. I loved walking along the Mississippi river at night. Great views. Lovely staff. I really enjoyed my time here. Would go back. Will tell friends. Only thing that could be a little better is parking. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't enjoyable.

on the way to Louisiana we stopped at this hotel. it's very nice and big. In the main hall there are a couple of restaurants. the rooms are beautiful and clean. Watch out for the big casino next door you could finish the dollars in no time.

Lovely place to rest and reset. Staff treated me like family and were beyond amazing. Food at 102 was delicious (thanks glo!). Casino was fun as well. It's an older hotel but location is great. Was able to ride the trolley around and site see. Wig at the front desk could have been a little more polite but overall excellent service.

Wall outlets in the bathroom didnt work. Hotel workers are lazy and unwelcoming. Reservations department will never ever !!EVER!! answer the phone. Just gave up after an hour on hold. The entire place smells terrible the pool had so much chlorine it would burn my nose when I walked by it. The pool area smelt like an old dumpster. And the interior smells of a nasty cheap cleaner that has no fragrance almost like burnt plastic....
AND NO ONE WILL TELL YOU ABOUT THE RESORT FEE!!!
MY FRIENDS, FAMILY, OR I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

Beautiful hotel. Just needs a variety of more options like food places, shops, etc. Customer service needs work too. Rooms are pretty and clean. They didn't serve breakfast. That was a bummer.
