"Things to change/upgrade" ...the place desperately needs a face lift. From painting of the walls to resurfacing the ceilings. The higher management that works with the window tellers are dreadful and dont need to be there. "ROCCO" BEYOND RUDE!
Now that they finally got the contract to build the new New York Islanders stadium and shopping area n movie theater the business will boom. When and however long it takes to complete is another mystery.

A great place for the whole family. Very pleasant atmosphere. Playground for children. Racing for adults.

Nobody comes here, its creepy and empty. Very limited public transit- hard to reach and roads are always clogged with traffic in the immediate vicinity. Other than that its likely the finest horse track in North America but it may have the worst attendance problem in North American sports.

Beautiful park , the racetrack is so huge it's breathe taking the trees and atmosphere is so peaceful and beautiful and you get to see the horses up front very close. The bathrooms could use some updates but for a 150 year old place it's is beautifully maintained so much to take in. Parking pretty cheap as well.

I got to finally meet the man of the best pastries in Las Vegas! Thomas Bell! Local guy as well! the lucky penny is the place for what he does best! You wont believe what he does! Hes gotta a gift and his stuff is awesome! Best gift giveaways of all stations! Look forward to whats next..thank you for the AWESOME desserts in the penny cafe...construction in casino is a maze sometimes...but no serious issues...

We waited in the lobby for almost an hour after our 9:30 PM arrival because our room was not ready. The night manager was rude and disrespectful. She didn't seem to think waiting until 10:30 for a room that we started to pay for at 3:00 was a big deal. Our suite was spacious, but rather worn. Left over tape on ceiling and walls from previous decorations. No ice available, people have to lug in bagged ice. No dinner ware in the kitchen. House keeping staff was nice and the soaking tub was facing a fantastic view. Over- all, not even close to what they claim to be on their website. I have been to nicer Hampton Inns.

Love the track, not fancy but a great time. Prefer to hang on the lower level and learn from the peole that bet their weekly pay checks. Great time
