Blackburn Park

A wonderful park, sadly it is now run down. The exquisite glass conservatory boarded up, yet still flowers on the Camelia. It would appear insufficient resources are available to the few staff who try to maintain the park. This is not helped by the local people who despite warnings continue the throw food at the ducks and indirectly foster a cosetted live for many rats that prevail.

Blackburn Park

A fantastic park. A great walk to start your weekend. Lots of interesting Victorian Easter eggs for you to discover. In these austere times the tennis courts and greenhouse look worse for wear. That said the park is well maintained by the Council and volunteers/ friends of the Park.

Blackburn Park

This is a great park, massive. Good jogging routes, tennis courts, wooded areas, work out equipment and plenty for kids, including a cool pretend driving instructor zone. The courts and other areas are a bit tired and it is possibly last it's heyday but there us loads of space to fund a quiet area or have a big group stay together.

Blackburn Park

The Corporation Park is very very run down full of people taking dogs for walks without leads and the leaves at the pond waters running to the bottom never ever cleaned out and same with the big fountain at the bottom . The GREEN HOUSE IF NOTHING GOING TO BE DONE IS THAT BROKEN AND BOARDED UP NEEDS DEMOLISHED. THERE IS NO USE OF SUCH A DISGUSTING EYE SORE . THE PARK HAS GONE INTO A DISGUSTING STATE AND NO POLICE PATROL FOR DRUG TRAFFICS OR YOUNG SMOKERS . Dont visit if alone and ask School children to keep away after school. Could be Very very suspicious in these areas of bushes . 🤯😱😱😱

Blackburn Park

Great place to walk around with plaques on the discover trail to give you information on the history. Street parking on most sides and some areas looking a bit run down or plaques missing but still nice for a walk.

Blackburn Park

Just up the road from me. Very pleasant for a walk round. Well kept by the park wardens. The only thing that's a bit of a let down is the old white exotic plant house. The council needs to decide what to do with it, it's fallen in to disrepair and let's the rest of the park down.

Blackburn Park

Nice park shame about the playground. Also ponds stink and duck poo everywhere to the extent that you must walk on grass to avoid it.

Blackburn Park

Its my favourite place when visiting my son taking the dogs for a walk and when i have visitors we take our Grandson. Its so beautiful and kept so clean, No matter what time of yr come rain or shine trees taking different colours. Cant imagine the poor ppl coming to get water😔 We love watching the birds especially the once Summer house we've watched it slowly going into decline ,and dont want it to be pulled down. Would make my wish come true if it can be renovated to its former grandeur and beauty what is going to happen ? Please say its going to be renovated to its former glory . I know when ever stood looking at it ppl join in the same. How about it. X
