I not a regular gambler but I did enjoy Ocean Downs Casino and the environment.
I'm sure management must have a reason why their is NO coffee station but they really need to consider offering such a great amenity to customers.
Having to ask a bartender/barmaid for a free cup is rediculas.
One waits and waits to get a cup while bothering a bartender....really?
The staff were found to be helpful.

My husband and I love to go here when we vacation in Ocean City, MD. It's a nice little casino. Everything is new and clean. We mostly play the slot machines, which they have a nice variety of. It's very convenient that they have food inside and the bar serves good drinks. Plenty of staff if you need anything and they are friendly and attentive. As a heads up, if you are driving in from Ocean City at night, you will have to drive down a few stretches of pitch black road.

The place is nice, but a little small compared to other casinos-but completely understandable given its location. Its decor is mediocre. Bar is good. Drink service at tables can be better. The best thing about this casino is the horse race track behind it! Aside from horse racing, they have events like ostrich and camel racing for all ages! How cool is that??!

Table hours are weird and aren't always open yet they are highly advertised.The rewards card system doesn't offer new member incentives. The facility looks renovated and the front door security guard was really nice.The staff are helpful and responsive.

Payouts are dreadful. The layout is nearly as bad. The service desk is slow and undermanned. The outside building is beautifully modern though. I would definitely suggest Harrington Slots and Casino over this depressing spot if you are going to donate your money.
Oh, and the food stinks too.

Hey was there Kentucky Derby horse race. Incredible horse country there. Being from Louisville KY it was good.

The casino is now open 24 hrs a day. They changed the point system of how many points that you accumulate when you use your casino reward card. It's virtually impossible to now earn points. Also I've been to plenty casino in my lifetime and I've never been to a casino where the staff insists that you get off the machine because they are going to clean the area and cash out the machne. Also the new restaurant is mediocre at best. It doesn't have a wide variety of choices.

If I could give a no star rating I would! To start, about a quarter of the machines were out of service. The tables in the back are completely packed and when you are able to get to one the dealers are rude and make up their own rules! If a minimum bet is $10 why can't you bet $12? Oh I guess it's because Melyssa can't count. Sorry you don't have the common sense to add, maybe you should go back to elementary school. And the floor managers are just as incompetent as they are clueless when questioned! Don't waste your money here! Go to Harrington or Dover!

We had a great time! Love all the "specials" and got $17 in gambling dollars because we brought in canned goods. Love that they're so involved in the community!
