When they advertise a free concert, they should lay out their plans better! I called the venue ahead of time and asked several questions. Really, the information they gave me was incorrect! Lesson learned! On the other hand, l was well attended to by the bartender, as were the other three in my party! The drinks were well made, came quickly and he knew all of our drinks and who they went to. He was great!

Started off by the way of the main entrance. Next I went and located players service, which heads up is marked by the word "cashier" . The next stop was to get the Marquee reward card. Fairly easy to get, make sure you have your unexpired state drivers license or state identification card with you at all times. Next the cheap games being the penny ones were a bit difficult to spot in the early moments. Best advice is the following: Walk around the entire casino floor, to get a grasp on the layout so you know which games you might want to play. Also locate the essentials, by that I am speaking, restrooms, drink stations, restaurants that are there. In addition make sure you are aware the kiosks are as there are several different ones, as well as an ATM. Once you have acquired the information keep that in the back of your mind and go be entertained responsibly. In addition you need to like walking, as their can be a lot of it. Before going you might want to take a couple of stretches. Overall it was a good time.

I've gone here 6 times and have never been able to walk away from a slot machine a winner. There's one in Dayton and I've enjoyed it because everyone was having fun. I even walked away a couple times ahead . NOT once have I had a chance here. I was a fool to return so many times hoping I was just there at a bad time or day. I suggest you don't play slots. I gave a guy on the corner pushing a shopping cart with a bag of cans $20 before I got there. I guess I should of walked in and handed the first employee the grand I've spent the 6 times. I would of enjoyed that better. Thanks Hollywood casino for making me not enjoy my entertainment. Would give you zero stars if they let me.

It's alright if you want to do something for the day. Plus they have an Amphitheater where concerts are held. A buffet that looks quite interesting if your a Foodie. But wasn't a good slot machine come up. Lose more than you gain. That's just my experience though. Each individual may get different results.

4 of us went to the final cut to celebrate our friend getting a hole in one. Food was great 6 bottles of wine Eric our waiter was spot on with everything he suggested. They were smart enough to put us away from other diners because we were loud and we were happy for our friend. Thank you all for letting us have fun.

Hollywood Casino is a great attraction to the Columbus area. I only gave 4 stars simply from lack of knowledge about casino's. I enjoy video slots; and am certain I would have had a wonderful time at my first visit if there was a coach or tutor ( so to speak) to assist in navigating the $5 free giveaway just for registering. I did not partake in the buffet as I had missed the early buffet @ $13.99 as opposed to the dinner buffet @ $20. Yet still; overall, this is a great place to go and unwind. Please remember; gamble responsibly, your family needs you more than that jackpot.

Can be a great time out. Buffet is really good, with the exception of the T-bones. They're usually well done and dry. Drink bottled beer, it's cheaper than draft. Enjoy yourself and stop when your ahead...

I'm biased, as this is the only casino I have ever been to, but I have a great time every time I go there. Even if I lose all my money. The dealers and all the staff with whom I've ever interacted there were all friendly and helpful. The drinks are both strong and inexpensive, and the games plentiful. Also, they tend to get fun musical acts through, like Morris Day and the Time, and Parliament Funkadelic.

I reserved the H lounge for a birthday celebration and my guests and I had an awesome experience. I worked with Kelsey who ensured everything ran as smooth as possible. All of the staff I encountered were very polite and accommodating. There was live music performance by Michelle Robinson and band who were absolutely amazing. I would certainly return and recommend this venue.

Love this place although the odds are not very good for blackjack. I tried calculating the house advantage but after a few questions the pit boss came over and was rude. I guess they're trying to keep it a secret. Still don't know the exact advantage but I'm guessing it's around (45% you) (55% house). 10% is a big advantage and the law of large numbers means they're probably making a killing.
