Look this place is, in every way, OK! The food is decent, and the drinks are average. I can't think of anything special about this place. The atmosphere is pretty good, but that's really about it.
I would've liked it if the staff understood the menu in a little bit more depth. We asked for a specific drink, which we enjoyed last time, but the waitress was clueless and brought a completely different drink. It was still alright.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Really good location near main square and flea market. Near omonia metro station. Citysightseeing bus stop opposite. Decor was nice in some rooms, in room 206 it was obvious that this was an old hotel done up in a boutique style. Wouldn't put me off going back there, the room was after all a bed to sleep in for the night! Food in the restaurant is recommended, really enjoyed it.

We were excited about experiencing the Crab Carnival at the Morrison. There was a great lively buzz in the restaurant at the back when we arrived. The menu was very promising and we ordered cocktails, oysters, mud crab and crab ravioli. The experience didn't live up to the promise. The service was terrible and the food was average.
The waitress had no knowledge of food or wine and the service was achingly slow. We waited 30 minutes for a glass of wine. Food was served cold. Grit in the oysters. Overall, very disappointing.

We came here for after work drinks and a bite to eat. The staff didn't really seem to care about their service and I felt like I was putting them out by just asking a question in regards to a drink. It was had to get their attention and everything seemed to be too much effort. What saved the experience was the food. Really impressive plates of delicious goodies. If you're a fan of crabs get here during crab fest because it will knock your socks off - I wish I had taken photos. 1 star for service, 5 stars for food

Good vibe, rude bartender, happy hour (limited $5 drinks) 5-7pm. Got really bustling at 6pm on a Friday. Bartender told us happy hour was about to start right after buying a bottle of wine. Manager was nice, allowed us a refund.

Terrible experience, waitress was hopeless. Took 15 minutes to get her attention so we could order, didn't write our order down then forgot to serve half of it. Waited over half an hour for drinks (one glass of wine and one coke) and over an hour for our pasta mains (that is, over an hour after our entrees were served, more like an hour and half from when we ordered it). When I asked for followup it was obvious she didn't remember to order it - very apologetic, said she would remove the pasta from the bill: She did not, so I paid for the whole thing.
The food itself was fine to good - oysters were excellent, and crab linguine was quite delicious as well. Of course, after waiting for 75 minutes anything would have tasted good!

Have some delicious food in this venue. Mussels are amazing! Although some bread to finish up the mussel sauce would have made it even better! Negroni was made very well if not a little pricey.
I will come back for sure.

Hotel is centrally located to the sights of Athens. We found it very quiet and our bed firm, but comfortable. Aircon and room service were excellent. Breakfast buffet was terrific and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant and had room service which was also good. My only criticism was the room layout and decor. Wall murals were tacky and hideous to look at which was hard to avoid. Plain white walls would have been better. Mushroom bedside lamps were not bright enough to read by and took up nearly all the space on bedside table. This was very small and uneven so that I couldn't put a glass on it without it toppling over. Bed was unnecessarily close to external window that I kept getting caught up in tassled curtain when I tried to exit bed. It was also really ugly. These things could easily and inexpensively be remedied. I would stay in this hotel again but not in room 308!

Wonderful hospitality. The staff are incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit. Very comfortable rooms, quiet and spacious.

Great service and central location. The bathrooms have seen better days and it’s almost impossible to wash your hair because of the low water pressure. Also, please stop changing the towels everyday and help save our planet instead ;-). Another downside is the internet connection that didn’t work very well. Besides that we felt very comfortable in the hotel and especially loved the nice breakfast.
