THERE IS NO HOTEL.
CASINO IS GREAT. SECURITY AND STAFF ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL. I USUALLY VISIT DURING THE EVENING TO EARLY MORNING HOURS. AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TREATED WELL. I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO ENJOY YOURSELVES HERE.

I love this casino very much. You get a lot of bang for your buck. Jason one of the bartenders is super nice. My husband and I love playing at the bar. Great location and my new favorite place.

Last night I stopped into Cal Nevada to grab a bite and beer while searching for somewhere to relax for a second and do some gambling. I'm a Skateboarder so I was out and about checking out the town and I had my board with me in the "club". Now, I get that it's most likely against the rules for whatever reason (I'm a 30 year old man, not a teenager) so maybe they assumed I would be destroying property. I was approached by one security guard who told me that I couldn't have my board in there. I respectfully replied ok, and started heading to the door. Within seconds she was on her walker talkie calling for back up. Three more security guards showed up to follow uncomfortably close behind during the escort out. The way the male guard looked at me when he rushed around the corner to "kick me out" after willing leaving on my own make me feel really uncomfortable and honestly scared that he was going to put his hands on my and wrestle me to the ground. I get it, can't have my board in there but if I'm leaving on my own there's no need for everyone on the payroll to publicly embarrass me for trying to spend money at your establishment. Way to make a good guy feel like a criminal, Cal Nevada.

Much improved, better lighting for security. I enjoy Keno so I appreciated the old school mechanical Keno. The Keno Department was kind to me and I felt at home there. This is the place to ask about, and learn how to play various games. The food is great and has a price that is hard to beat in town.

I'm pretty loyal to the Eldorado... But Club Cal Neva has become my new favorite place. A great local casino where you can just BS at the bar with the locals and hang

Had a Great meal. Loved their specials. Friendly atmosphere. Our waitresses was curtious and made sure we didn't want for anything. Even the bust boy helped to make our meal enjoyable by helping the waitress with refills. He went well beyond his job title.

Decent place with seedy clientele. Full of what looks like drifters and vagrants. Won $800 on electronic Keno, so that was nice. Might as well be invisible to the servers though. Great little burger joint on the first floor, and I liked the 3rd floor sports bar. Fantastic restaurant deals with good food. Unlike Vegas, food is expensive in Reno, so it's refreshing to get a good meal at a decent price. Too bad someone cut the window out of the soft top of my Jeep while it was in the parking garage.

Great place to go if you're not looking to spend an arm and a leg. Great food. Great bartenders. Dealers are all well trained. Very friendly atmosphere. And the cleaning personnel were on it. I always had an empty ashtray. A cocktail waitress even offered me matches, which is very nice for a smoker. Overall I was very satisfied with my visit.
