Stopped by the Madison County Fairgrounds for the county fair and had a blast! The demolition derby was the best I’d ever seen and all the food I had was delicious! Only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don’t sell any beer or wine during the fair, like it’s a fair! You need a beer tent!

A hoot with kid friendly rides and things like deep fried Oreos. All the animals are a blast.

My granddaughter showed her goat got 1st in her class! With her horse got a bunch of 1st's and 2nd's! Great fair!

I first came to this fair as a teenager & I remember it being so crowded with people & SO FUN. Now, it's like a ghost town! The rides are BEAUTIFUL! The fresh burgers & fries near the arena are a family favorite every year! THE BEST!
May I suggest getting events & activities to draw the community in. The whole fair atmosphere seems gone.......

🙄Dump station would be nice if it was graveled. And a touch up on the shower house. However other than 👍😃 that...a very nice place..

Things have changed over the years, but we love the space provided here. You have to be creative and come up with your own activities here if the fair isn't in session. The area is nice for families.
