Horrible resort do your research it's cheap but not worth waisting you're Money...I can go on no hot water, chip paint, room smells moldy, no working elevator. The list goes on...

The beach was the best part about this place. The hotel its self is ok, i had to switch my room in the beginning but the staff will work with you. I would say stay here if it's only a week or less nothing long term.

Bad maintenance. Here are photos of bird poop all over the balcony. A decomposing bird next to pool. Underwater electric fixture.
SUNWING was just as negligent.
On a good note they have an abundance of guys glad-handing you to go to a time share seminar....

Very cool place. The employees are very helpful, nice and friendly. It’s all inclusive meaning breakfast lunch dinner and snack and all you can drink ALL Night!!! Beautiful beach, very clean! Rodizo is a Brazilian restaurant very good 24hr ahead reservation required. I will definitely come back!!!! Anna in guest service was so helpful! As well as Jeff “Chocolate” on the beach. Very welcoming. Tairy was helpful as well and very accommodating.

OMG.. THIS IS THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN TO. THERE IS MOLD IN THE BATHROOM, THE SHOWER CURTAIN AND THE ROD. THE EMPLOYEES ARE MONOTONE WITH NO EXPRESSION ON THEIR FACE. THE FOOD SUCKS AND THE INTERESTING THING THEY WILL ONLY GIVE YOU 2 TOWELS A DAY EVEN IF YOURS GET DIRTY OR WET. THE POOL CHAIRS HAVE BIRD DROPPINGS ON THEM. THE POOL WATER IS DIRTY. THE PEOPLE BEHAVE LIKE ANIMALS, SCREAMING RUNNING AND NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING. I WOULDN'T COME HERE AGAIN IF THEY PAID ME TO STAY HERE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND I'M NOT JUST SAYING THAT THIS "PLACE" IS HORRIBLE DO NOT COME HERE...

It's a fine place to go if you only care about the beach. The water is clear, shallow and everything you imagine a perfect beach to be. The rooms however.... We stayed on the "Garden" side. They put us (11month-old, my wife and I) in a building that was furthest from the beach. The room was empty except for a king size bed and a wall-mounted tv. The bathroom didn't have a door which would've been weird if our kids were older. There were two windows and both faced construction. The only decent thing to eat was the omelette we had for breakfast. Other than the beautiful beach, the only redeeming factor was the price... But I guess you get what you pay for.

I enjoyed my experience at Be Live Hamaca Beach, but it was apparent that we had to adjust our standards. The room was nice, but had a pungent musty smell. Fortunately, we were able to air it out and the AC worked great. The buffet was good (the coffee and fruit were amazing), but the Italian restaurant had the worst service I've ever experienced. The housekeepers were very helpful when we needed extra supplies.

The Be Live Hotel in Boca Chica is one of the largest on the beach of BCh. They have all you need including a very fine beach side with clear water and clean sand. Also they offer you different restaurants and good facilities for celebrating parties or business meetings. The hotel brand Be Live is more famous for an all-inclusive resort, so you don't await very special service as tourist. They offer also a so called VIP area, but this is just only separate by a line or a additional butler ... but it's not worth the money.

I do not recommend this Resort. Customer service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. Getting ready for a wedding, I asked for an iron and I had to wait 2.5 hours for it. The hallways had roaches and the food is nothing to brag about. Almost the entire “Garden” side of the Resort is under construction, our room had mold and don’t expect your room to be cleaned and linen changed out unless you call for it and wait for someone to show up to do so. WORST RESORT EXPERIENCE EVER!
