Great pizzeria, Great taste and best part for me is that it goes fast. You don’t have to wait for you’r food for half an hour.

I live in New England which if you know anything about pizza it doesn't get any better. I had a friend that comes out here often recommend I give this location a try since I told them I had Grecos pizza a few nights before and it was an abomination. They claim to be New York style pizza, but that makes me wonder if the owners have ever been to NY? Or just read a recipe. With that being said it was slightly better than Grecos and the prices are tremendously better, but that doesn't say much at all.

I miss New York so much I moved here a few years ago and I pretty much gave up on eating pizza LOL someone had suggested Joe's to me and it's a running joke because there's so many original Famous Joe's pizzas in New York when I first tried it I was hooked it felt like a little taste of home the way it's prepared the size of the slices the way the little bit of Grease runs off the back of your slice when you fold it in half to eat it on a paper plate just perfection!

Being a New Yorker, im a rough critic but the pizza was really good, so was their meatball hero. The garlic knots were lacking in taste and texture was off, bit pricey but to be expected in that area.

Okay I rarely, possibly never, write reviews but this needs to be brought up. So, being a college student who lives right around the corner from Joe’s Pizza, I found it a convenient spot to get a bite to eat if I’m up late, didn’t feel like cooking, or didn’t want to venture to far to get something to eat. Up until about 2 weeks ago everything was fine. I never had a single issue. This completely changed 2 weeks ago. I had gotten a meatball sub from Joe’s. Now, I normally stick to the pizza but I felt like changing things up. Anyways, I eat the sub and about an hour or so later I’m on the toilet with diarrhea. I was stuck in my dorm sick as a dog for 3-4 days. Anyways I push it off as maybe there was a new guy who messed something up, nothing intentional right? Now, a week later (last week) I got a meatball sub again thinking maybe they’d fixed whatever the problem was. Once again, about an hour or so later I was sick, but this time twice as bad. I was vomiting so much that I got the wind knocked out of me 3 or so times within an hour. Now don’t get me wrong I do have a minor case of asthma, but still. The last time I remember being that sick was when I was in fourth grade and got salmonella. As for the pizza? I just got some sicilian pizza and I think something was a bit off as it tasted a bit weird. Anyways, I think someone might be messing with the food or the fridge needs a serious cleaning asap. (Ps: for anyone who might be wondering I’ve never had any sort of allergies/intolerances to food)

So if you can get the pizza pretty fresh out of the oven it's very good. But most likely you will have the choice of a bunch of dry old slices that they reheat. Personally the only way I would eat here is by getting a whole pie or fresh slice.
