Monday-thursday you can use player points to comp room. Plus points can be used for food. Very low cost get away if you are good at slots.

Everything was fine until we went for breakfast. We both ordered steak and eggs. After 15 minutes our waitress told us they were having a problem. Another 15 minutes our waitress told us they were still having problem with the steaks. We ordered something different. Eggs ham hash browns and toast. It took another 20 minutes. The eggs were fine, I got bacon instead of ham and the hash browns were over done and the toast was hard. They still charged us for breakfast. Not happy. Won't go back.

We were invited by my Aunt and Uncle to come up to the Double Eagle in Cripple Creek. The room was reserved and paid for by my aunt. Upon check in we were unable to reach my aunt and they would not let us check in at first despite us having the name of the person who reserved the room, the room had been paid for and our names were given to them when reserved. They finally agreed to let us check in after 20 minutes of arguing as long as we gave them our credit card and said they wouldn't charge anything to it if my aunt came by before 9:00 pm which she did. We went up to our room which should have been a King-it was two doubles. We went back to the front desk and told them and they sent us to another room WHICH WAS ALSO A DOUBLE. we went back down to the front desk for a third time and finally got a room with a King. It took us over an hour to get checked into our room. We found an old tea bottle full of cigarette butts under our bed! We already were late to meet our family so we simply put it outside of our room in the hall. We should have taken pictures or reported it!! I noticed on Monday that they had charged my card $90 for the room even though it was already paid for. They also charged my card $160. When I called them they said that the person my aunt talked to didn't tell the person who charged my card. They said the $160 was the difference between the room charge and the $250 SMOKING FEE. We did not smoke in the room! They then charged ANOTHER $250 to my card the next day!! Eventually the $90 and $160 authorizations fell off but only after about a week. They refused to refund the smoking fee and said they had "proof" but refused to send me the proof. They had nothing that I had signed authorizing them to charge my card. They obviously didn't clean the room before us and the bottle full of cigarette butts was probably from the people before who HAD smoked in the room. I have disputed it with my credit card company but they said it can take up to 90 days. I spoke to Cara Bernon and Amy Witt, two shift managers before finally speaking to a manager named Steve who was incredibly rude and when I asked to speak to his manager I was informed that I "would NEVER speak to his manager". The Double Eagle has poor customer service, does not care about their customers and we will NEVER BE BACK.

I read some of the reviews and was surprised that some felt this facility was nice and updated, I saw the complete opposite, I saw a hotel casino that looks as though it hasn't reinvested in it's facilities for quite sometime, it looks as though they are on their way out. We were scheduled to stay for a few nights but after our first nights stay we decided to go stay else where. As for the gaming, the machines seemed very tight, not sure if they have control over that or not??? One of the great mysteries of the world. It's just not like the good old days. I'm a believer that you must reinvest in you business if you want to succeed and continue to be competitive. That being said I most likely won't be back unless they get it together.

Make sure to check your billing! This place has over billed me twice my last 2 stays. Have gone to front desk to get it squared away and it’s taken an extra hour both trips. Only to get my bank statements the following month and once no change was made. The other I was still billed fully. Don’t be ripped off. Stay somewhere else. Beds are pretty crummy as well.

We stayed overnight. The rooms are nice. A typical hotel room. The rooms are spacious. I found the bed to be to firm for me, so I ended up sleeping in the chair. I only got 2 hours of sleep. I like my coffee in the morning. My coffee pot did not work. I called to get it exchanged and they said they had no more, that they had new ones on order, but they hadn't arrived yet. I asked if they could bring me a lot of coffee. They said they couldn't do that. I'd have to go down to the bar to get one. You get breakfast comped as an overnight guest. The breakfast was good. I recommend you get you name on the waiting list ASAP, because we had a 30 minute wait time. The casino is nice. They had plenty of slots upstairs and downstairs. They have tables you can play blackjack, poker, etc...

I wasn't a guest at the hotel, so am unable to review anything in regards to its accommodations. I did stop in to peruse the casino portion of the hotel & casino. There were two levels several video slots, both newer and older. The casino decor was flashy, but not unappealing. The bar was closed, so we didn't stay to play for very long. My husband took note of the crab leg night buffet, so we may return for a meal.

Ok first off let me say I had the worst time of my life today at this establishment today. I was detained and harrased by gaming officials and staff after accidentally putting twenty dollars in a reserved machine. I waited till the person got back to the machine and informed the person and staff of what had happened. I wasnt looking to get my money back in anyway and probably should have not said anything. But thats not all, after informing the staff that my party was leaving because of the way I was treated. They called two more gaming officials and continued to harassing my mother. Im really confused as to why I was treated in this manor and will never return because of that. They said they were just following the laws, but yet every time i was at the blackjack table the dealers were trying to coach me the whole time while telling me coaching me was illegal. If you're looking for a good time dont even bother with this place.
