Loved the casino, especially the slots even tho I usually play blackjack. Our hotel room was very nice too except for a smoky smell - didn't think it was a smoking room. Will definitely return!

I love the Double Eagle Hotel, because they have a great location, convenient parking, and a great staff. On my most recent visit, the bathroom was out of toilet paper in one stall. After rescuing the person there, the first staff member that I told stopped what she was doing and contacted someone. I appreciate that!

They have good and affordable rewards for their player's club. Many of the slot machines on the floor I have never seen as they are older, but I enjoyed them since they were new to me. I took 1 star away because when you put your card in the machines for base points, it took 10+ times of inserting and removing it before the machine could read it. Payouts were ok, but not great.The hotel was very vintage and had tons of shiny gold walls, etc. Which I loved!

If your coming to see Cripple Creek, very nice town. The area is awesome. The Hotel is nothing special, sure you can gamble. Staff makes lot of mistakes, food is average at best. But you can gamble if that's what your here for. The Hospitality Hotel is far better suited for real comforts. This Hotel rooms are not comfortable. But you should still come to town of Cripple Creek Colorado, this is a jewel of an area.

So we didn't purchase anything, but the service here was very accommodating. We were in the area on a Sunday afternoon so a lot of the businesses were closed. So when our young daughter had to go potty we didn't have many options. We ducked in here and we're allowed to take her to the restroom despite not being customers. They were curteous, kind, and accommodating. Good job!

I only give it 4 stars due to some of the employees did not inform us correctly about the points earned when gambling to get a free night stay in the hotel. Communication is key between employer & employee to make your guest happy. We really like staying here every year we go to Colorado. We get a free breakfast every morning in their restaurant. Otherwise our stay is a nice one.
