Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

Love playing here as the dealers and servers are always very accommodating. Always a $5 and $10 blackjack table open. Citrus Pool Deck is where it's at tho. Open to the public, happy hour 5-7p ($3 beers, $4 apps), bar is shaded. Avail have corn hole and ping pong table. Beautiful servers. Super fun place with an excellent view of downtown Las Vegas

Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

My wife and I stopped here on the way down to California and, let me say, this was by far the classiest hotel we have ever stayed at in Vegas! We are not high rollers, obviously, but this hotel was beautiful. The rooms looked brand new and were very modern. The bed was comfortable for me, but a little too firm for my wife. The room was clean and big and had 2 sinks, which is perfect for getting ready for bed. Great hotel at a great value! (We only paid 65 dollars, including the resort fee of 25ish dollars)

Paid extra for the “deluxe room with a nice view”. The view and the room left much to be desired. Website touted the property as “family friendly”. Another deception. Pool was extremely packed and many people there weren’t even guests! So that was a really big disappointment. On the plus side, the room and property were very clean and well maintained. The restaurant downstairs was amazing! And if u go during happy hour times the appetizers are super cheap! Parking garage is a long walk.

Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

I really thought that this was going to be a great stay until...when we checked in after 3 and a half weeks of planning a trip that they had switched my smoking room to non smoking....I'm very annoyed....I am not hard to please...but why would I request a non smoking room if I smoke cigarettes? I payed for the convenience and was told they would call the next day if something comes available....no call...no nothing... even if it wasn't available still let me know.....I'm just unhappy..... and when I confirmed 3 times.... who changed my accommodation? And why am I being treated like I'm crazy? Nobody knows.. nobody can help.. I don't know why I even.....super disappointed..rooms are clean.... that is for certain....make sure you get what you request...that's all...I spent money and got the old bait and switch....😉

Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

Friends were staying here while in town so I met them in the lobby. I had read about the remodel and upgrade, but I was truly impressed by what I saw. It was ultra-modern and classy and the ambience was very inviting. The casino is on the small side (but nice), however you're right by Fremont Street so if you want more gambling options just walk across the street. This is a great location as far as restaurants and multiple things to do and places to go. The rooms are very nice too; a cut above what is the norm downtown Las Vegas. Prices are reasonable as well. My friends got an outstanding deal online and they were very impressed with the quality and service of the Grand. In fact, they said next time they come to Vegas they're staying there again. That's a pretty good testimonial!

The rooms are amazing, beautiful, comfortable and clean. The attention is formidable, of very good taste. The parking lot is a little small. You can validate it if you have a players card and gamble or eat inside the casino. The hotel usually has a lot of noise and smells like cigarettes. The pool is magnificent. It has a bar, music, cabins. They have Happy Hour. The prices of drinks become better from 5pm to 7pm. Excellent location, easy access to distractions, comfort of transfer by bus or car.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... I like playing the slots at the Downtown Grand, always seem to do well! I enjoy the quieter atmosphere and it is clean. The drink service while playing is super. The bands that play in the restaurant are awesome, and you can watch and listen while playing slots - best of both worlds! Husband and I have never stayed here, as offers from other hotels have been better (free). We were some of the first people to get players cards when they first opened and have enjoyed gambling here ever since. It is a beautiful casino and I hope to stay here someday.

Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

I went here with one other person on a Saturday around 11 AM. The restaurant was pretty easy to find after entering the casino. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to seat the people in line pretty quickly. There's live music playing during brunch which was really nice. The theme of the restaurant is very Americana, which makes sense given the name. My friend and I both got the bottomless mimosas ($10 each) and bottomless brunch ($20 each). They serve the mimosas to you rather than leaving carafes. The all you can eat comes with a skillet of monkey bread, which was delicious, and a plate of fruit. The fruot was okay except the pineapple wasn't ripe. The brunch dishes are all small plates, kind of like tapas. I had the French Toast, which looked like it was baked in a ramekin. The bread stuck in places and was hard to scoop out, but it was still good. I also had the Crispy Chicken Biscuit. It was plain, but a nice change from how sugary the French Toast was. It was made with dark meat and didn't have enough of the coleslaw dressing. My friend really enjoyed the Biscuits & Gravy, but found the waffle in the Chicken & Waffles to be too hard. We still had a great time, but we'll skip the all you can eat brunch and get regular entrees next time.

Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

Seems brand new, or at least a recent remodel. I'm told it was the old Lady Luck hotel... but very happy with my experience. Room was clean, bed comfortable, hotel staff pleasant... my only two issues were the pillows offered and noise from Fremont. They were nice enough to leave earplugs, which were necessary to sleep. I have neck issues and asked for another pillow but they only have really large ones, so I had to sleep those nights without a pillow. They would have received 5 stars otherwise. I still don't understand the resort fees when all that means is "here's 2 more free water bottles". Seems like a "well they get away with it, so can we" fee. You have to add that $23 fee to the overall room price to know if you're getting a good deal.

Citrus at the Grand Pool Deck

We were in the downtown Grand late one night for dinner. We did not actually stay in any of the rooms at the casino, nor did we play any of the games on the floor. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly, and helpful. We ordered the Alaskan cod and The Rice Bowl. The pieces of cod were very large, and the fries were very tasty. The vegetables in the rice bowl were fresh, and it tasted great as well. This was our second experience at that restaurant, and we will definitely be back again.
