Been here many times and enjoyed it so we went tonight and not sure what has changed it but the place is very run down, toilets could do with a make over. As I'm a small eater and hold a seniors card I ordered off the seniors menu. Well the pie was like it had been in the oven all day as it was so dry. The meat was stuck to the pastry as there was no gravy left in it. The mashed potato had lumps in it because it was only half mashed. Just because it was seniors meal doeesn't mean I'm a 2nd class citizen. There were two good things 1/ Friendly Staff 2/ Coffee was great. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I believe they should spend some of the money they make off the pokie machines on the amenities.

Visited on Australia Day and the fillet on the steak sandwich was very tender. Also ordered a steak with prawns which was slightly under cooked. The kids meal includes a drink, dessert and colouring in book which was fantastic. Staff are friendly. Meal portion actually filled the plate. Very good for a pub/grill level meal.

Meal was average if that. We ordered two hot chocolates right after we ordered our meal, we were served our food and had finished eating and our drinks still hadn't arrived. After waiting at the bar for a staff member to eventually come over, our drinks were forgotten about. After further waiting they came out bland and with no apology for the wait. Both tasted like warm milk with no chocolate taste at all.
Next time I will make the drive to Fitzys Loganholme. They have better service there and we've always left satisfied. Can't say the same for Waterford.

I ordered the rib fillet medium rare and it came out clearly under cooked (blue). I mean, 3/4 of this thing was raw meat! I brought it to one of the staff's attention and asked if he could cook it a little longer, as it was too under cooked. He wasn't concerned with how under-done it looked suggesting "would you like it closer to medium". I was surprised with his lack of concern with how raw it was, however I agreed as my steak couldn't possibly return any LESS cooked.... He showed up with a fresh new piece. After 3 bites it was clear it was as blue as the first. I showed the rest of my family I was dining with and they were all disgusted, claiming it's clearly inedible. I could not be bothered dealing with the staff member again and left with most of the steak still on the plate. We won't return.

Been coming here for years, its pretty much our local. Food is generally always good and never had a problem with staff. Always friendly.
