The hotel was basic, a bed, small TV, and a mini fridge. A little out dated but good for the price. I love that it was pet friendly (even if I didn't have a pet) as that is rare in my hometown. The saving grace of this place is the AMAZING breakfast that comes with. It was legitimately the best pancakes I have ever had and their scrambled eggs were amazing as well. I will definitely be coming back just for that during future visits.

Great place to stay. The beds are really great, slept so well. The shower was great, not to hard but a little too soft, and when I was done there was water everywhere. And there was plenty of room. Even though the shower is a weird I still like this place.

We really liked this hotel. Yes the decor is a little dated, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It’s in a good location and reasonably priced, and it was clean. Checking in was fast and the clerk was friendly. Staying here again for sure.

Good service with solid food. The grilled chicken salad was generous and fresh. Unfortunately the medium rare steak was burned and more well done than desired.

One star is too much! French toast was burned, the sausage was charred and the eggs were not as I ordered them. I sent it back to be fixed and they flipped the eggs over and gave me matching charred sausage. The taco salad is not a salad at all but nachos with lettuce and the fish is fried with hairs in the batter. Chef Ramsey should visit this overpriced dump. Needless to say my family will not be back.

We went July 9, 2018. The pool was nice and warm! Our phone in the room didn't work. I think the Jack was broken or something. The room was beautifully decorated and quite large and spacous. The beds were comfortable! I just wish there was a continental breakfast included in the price of around $95 for the one night.

Gold Country Inn is a consistent hotel with prompt service, clean rooms, decent food and an Ok location. I visit this establishment two to three times per year for work and can always rely on Gold Country to have a comfortable room for the government rate. I enjoy the food at their diner and drinks at their sports bar. I'd recommend Gold Country to anybody passing through Elko.

Huge room. Very clean and smelled great. Location is perfect. Added bonus of lots of coupons for food etc. Upon check in.
