Overall experience was great. Beautiful location, plentiful food and drinks, majority of employees were pleasant and went above and beyond to accommodate any needs we had. The nightly shows were awesome. Biggest issue was that we lost power two days in a row. First time was just briefly, little less than an hour. The second time without power lasted 3 hours and didn't get it back on until 2AM. Other than that, our stay here was great.

This place is very clean and very very accommodating all the staff is very nice and willing to please we had a small issue with their room the bathtub wouldn't dream they came to fix it right away later they stop by with a big fruit basket in them nice bottle of rum and say an apology. The one person that stands out the most is William the bartender at the pool he goes way way way above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. The next day at the pool we arrived and he had already had a safe spot for us and drinks ready watching him interact with everybody else including kids made us like him even more he's a wonderful person and I highly recommend that you go say hi you and make you feel right at home I would highly recommend this place to anybody who's taking a vacation especially for their first time it is a very beautiful place the staff is all very nice.

Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Doing a great job of upkeep. Once I found our hallway being painted. They seem to be in the midst of a makeover as restaurant names are not as marked and some construction as well. Bar staff (everywhere) are excellent and friendly. Food is very good, we've tried most of the restaurants! Spanish not required, but can be fun and helpful to use. Only drawback, Be prepared to say "NO!" to the gaggle of locals pawning trinkets, goods and trips. "Hola, mi amigo, good price here for..." Some more aggressive than others. Harmless, but pesky.

Overall the resort was very clean and the rooms just as clean. This resort is owned by a company from Spain and it showed. All the food selections at the buffets had a European influence. From the sliced Jamon to the small baguettes for breakfast. All a nice touch. Since the resort was all-inclusive, drinks were plenty. All the liquor was top shelf. They didn't even have well brands. Pools were a plenty and clean. The beach was also well maintained considering facing the Atlantic. Our only complaint would be that the showers in the rooms had a sliding glass wall facing the main area. We really don't want to look at our 17 and 20 year old sons silhouettes while they showered. Overall, we would definitely visit again

The entire resort complex is very nice. You can tell everything has recently been renovated. Lots of restaurant choices, live music in the lobbies and at different restaurants, two theaters, 24-hour Sports Bar plus a disco. The kids programs are great plus there are adult only sections. A great resort overall that has something for everyone!

I'll start with what's good: 1. My maid was AWESOME! 2. Front desk and others were nice. 3. Fruit is good. The best grapes and pineapples. Food is decent. 4. Spa was GREAT! Don't spend money on regular prices. They are as high as giraffe vagina! Wait for a concierge wearing a spa shirt to offer you a special. Now what I didn't like: 1. The power has gone out 5 times since Wednesday and it's only Saturday. 2. The junior suite is nothing more than a regular hotel room in the US except with a jetted tub. DO NOT spend extra money unless you're getting a swim-out room or loft. Even in the loft, it's a couch with a trundle and not a full sofa bed...this is the same for the regular junior suite. If you choose this property, you might as well go for the deluxe room. I've never been in a suite this small and in a suite that lacked so many amenities. 3. Walls in the rooms are paper thin. I can hear the person next door scoot a chair across the floor. 4. Casino is CLOSED! Not sure why it's advertised as a resort and casino. 5. Junior suite doesn't include liquor...only soda and beer. Other suites I've had included rum and whiskey. 6. Map is hard to follow. 7. Shuttles don't run as stated. 8. Steak house was HORRIBLE! The steak comes cooked in three ways: burned, burnt and "burnter." Potatoes were cold. If I ever come back to the Dominican Republic, I'll most likely NOT stay at this property. I wasn't impressed.
