I got an excellent deal on a very nice room when I stuck in Tahoe during a blizzard. The room was very clean, nice, and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were well above average for a hotel. There was even an in room hot tub. My only complaint was the lack of easily accessible outlets on the nightstands for charging phones, everything else was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and cheerfully engaged on friendly chit chat.

Check-in was really fast and easy thanks to Scott. He helped me with canceling one of my days I reserved. The Casino was great I played video poker for hours, and the drink service was EXCELLENT. I had drinks and played video poker at the first bar to the left as you walk into the casino from the hotel. Service there was the WORST I've ever experienced at a Casino bar. With the exception of one bartender named Andy. I HOPE the management looks into this. I was also very happy with the room, very big, clean, and well kept.

As soon as I saw the inside of the hotel, I was excited to check out the room. We got there pretty early but they let us check-in at 12 which was really nice. The room was cute and it looked new but it wasn't the cleanest. It was REALLY dusty. You could visibly see the dust everywhere. My nose hurt from the dust which didn't let me sleep comfortably and on top of that, the heater didn't warm up the room WHATSOEVER. We had to ask for a mini heater and an extra blanket (which was STAINED!!) The bathtub was pretty dirty too. There was a dirty towel left from the guest who stayed in the room before us and black spots in the tub. Didn't spend much time in the room anyways but it was still upsetting to pay to stay in a dusty, stained room.

Stopped into Hard Rock Hotel for a nap and a bubble bath while my friend's attended a wedding. Check-in was super easy and the rooms were clean. Loved the complimentary soaps and body lotions. Only complaint was that the room was a little on the chilly side even with the heat on. Staff were friendly and I always love seeing the memorabilia!

Amazing experience. The view from our room was amazing..... Thank you Scott for the upgrade. So much to look at in and around the hotel and casino. The only downside was the fact that the heat was always on so we had to keep cracking our room window to stay at a comfortable temperature.

Very fun place to stay. The rooms, hallways, elevators, etc. all seem clean and modern. The rock memorabilia is interesting and the decor is fun. The pool can get crowded and it is often difficult to find a chair. They do have cabanas to rent, but they are not cheap (price varies between $150-$400 for a half day). The casino was ok, but I can't judge it much because I'm not much of a gambler.

Got the balcony suite. Room is clean and everything looks well. View from the balcony isn't great as there is another building in the way. Also the toilet in the bathroom runs for 10 minutes after you flush it. Other than that very good service. Very helpful staff.

Good casino with decent clubs. Been there during the week and weekend. The weekend has a lot more smoke, so if you're sensitive to that be aware that it's more prevalent than during the week. But other than that, it's our go to club. The music history is cool and the gambling is fun. Service is pretty quick even on a busy summer weekend. Looking forward to the next visit!

I was staying at Harvey's but enjoyed my time at Hard Rock so much more. The food at Alpine Union was great and the staff was friendly at the casino. Also, I enjoyed the slots much more at Hard Rock than at all of the other casinos I played at. The casino is small but fun and that's what matters to me. If I visit Lake Tahoe again I hope to stay at Hard Rock instead of the the total rewards properties.

My far this was my favorite Hotel in South Lake Tahoe. The rooms are recently remodeled, comfortable, clean, and spacious. The room really was over and Beyond what I expected. I do think that the hotel was a little overpriced, but I would stay there again if I found a good deal. The other minor complaint I have is that this is not Las Vegas and there should not be a $44 resort fee particularly when I feel like I am just staying at a nice hotel and not a resort. I ate at the Alpine Union several times and would recommend it as reasonably priced and a decent meal. The slot selection is good and the crowds are not as bad as some of the other hotels. The smoke ventilation is decent and the drink service was also decent. Overall if I do come back to South Lake Tahoe I would stay here again.
