I wish I could give half stars as PJs is a solid 3.5 for me. I enjoyed my coffee to-go, although it seemed expensive for what it was. Unfortunately, PJs lacks the charm required to rate it a 4 star establishment.
My friend wanted a coffee and to use the restroom so we ran in here for both. The place was absolutely disgusting. The tables were dirty and sticky and it was dark and dingy. The wait staff was very rude. My friend asked for a bathroom and the barista just pointed toward a door and told my friend to go down there. She was sent down a long, dark hallway with barely any doors. She got to the bathroom but it was locked from the inside with no indication there was anyone in it. We quickly left. We went to Envie for coffee instead. Much nicer atmosphere and cleaner.
This place they have the greatest coffee, I’m so in love with their items.
The food taste great as well, if I live in NOLA I would definitely be here every day.
The customer service was awesome, they’re so friendly and professional.
You should go to PJ’s coffee when you visit New Orleans.
It's rare that I write a truly bad review, but of all the places we visited in NOLA, this was the one that stands out as a bad experience. The barista was rude, acted as if we were bothering her by simply existing, and didn't even bother to make a good drink. My friend took one sip of his lemonade and promptly threw it out it was so awful. Luckily, all I had gotten was water. If you're looking for a nice local spot, definitely go to French Truck Coffee instead.
Highly recommended for good iced coffee and cool air conditioning on a hot day. Staff is friendly and responsive. And the exposed brick inside will remind you that you're in a historic 1830 building in the French Quarter. Enjoy the atmosphere. I did.
You know it's not my favorite cup of Joe but I'll take a cup if somebody bought it for me. It's a great local coffee if you're feeling froggy get one. Get the cinnamon roll microwave that for 10 seconds during somebody Ron and Bob's your uncle go get you some
