Ho Chunk is my favorite casino. We stayed in a room this time and it was clean, comfortable and modern. The service is excellent.

The amenities are great. The pool, kid quest, and of course the casino were a lot of fun. The staff at check in, kid quest, and the casino were very helpful and kind. However, there were a lot of bugs in the room, the patio door was broken, a wasp was making a nest right outside the patio door, and a mouse ran right over my feet on our patio. When I attempted to relay the issues at check out the guy laughed at me and said he would pass it on. I know it's a remote area and you're going to have wildlife and creatures around, but this was excessive. I killed 8 spiders and 11 mosquitoes in 2 days, all inside the room.

The room was a deluxe corner room, could have been cleaner, patch jobs on walls were hideous, fan in bathroom did not work...that said the room was nicely laid out, bed very comfy, enjoyed the private balcony & small jacuzzi tub.

Casino was ok, but having cash only at snack bar and bar forced us to take cash from atm and pay a fee. Hotel was decent, took 10 minutes of running water to finally get hot water in room. Breakfast at the cafe was amazing!

Had an awesome time. Room was excellent. Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and polite. Great meal at restaurant...would stay there anytime I was in the area

Cold Showers - no commitment to customer service. Notified maintenance of cold water in shower. They came up, tried to fix and said the mixing valve was shot. We asked to speak with front desk manager. Had to leave a message and haven't heard from her since. I've called back 3 more times and no response as of today. Place stunk of cigarette smoke even away from the casino. I'll never walk foot into any Ho Chunk site again. Their mission statement says "We will exceed our guests' expectations by providing an exceptional service and entertainment experience every time." Well, they failed on this numerous times over.
