Non-smoking - Great! Decent pay-outs. Rewards play. Decent grille. Free soft drinks/coffee - self-serve. Only criticism is that we've played there often over many years, yet we've had only one comp hotel offer...? Other casinos where we play only sporadically offer us free rooms regularly. 4 Stars bc of the latter criticism. Otherwise, 5 Stars.
A smoke free casino, minutes from downtown. Food offerings could be better, but it is affordable at least. Does get crowded on a hot day, and slots seem to be hit or miss, with popular machines being limited in number.
If you are not an experienced gambler, they sure don't do a good job explaining how to get started, no guidance at all. I thought when I cashed out that the $ remained on the card. The lady told me that I had to hit a button to receive a cash out ticket. I lost $17.89 and she said there was nothing they could do about it! I'm never going to a casino again. People who gamble are fools in the first place. I'd rather throw my money in the street and hope someone has a lucky day. Ugh.
My first casino on thanksgiving day. I found it to be not so bad for the town of Madison. They only had slot machines which was fine because I know nothing about tables. But on the other hand my sister didn’t have much fun because she only like table games. The staff was very nice and I felt safe because there was always an employee in sight. Went in only played $4 ( I wasn’t there to play, but just to take the crowd I was with) and walked out with 70$. Had a nice time. Clean, nice and enjoyable. Can’t speak for people who are use to casinos but this will definitely do for Madison! Made my night a whole lot more fun. The town was DEAD! But went to Ho Chunk and it seems like that’s where the whole town was. It definitely gives Madison a little taste.
