If I could, I would rate this a 3.5, not quite a 4. It is a great place if you’re on a budget, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The casino is vintage, which is reflected in the room prices. The registration staff was very friendly, but everyone else I ran into that works there seemed to hate their job. Took advantage of the one free drink per night - which is a $3 drink coupon. Didn’t do the restaurant, it seemed overpriced based on the menu. Overall it is a comfortable stay, especially if you’re looking to save some money.

Best casino in town with a sports book, craps, and blackjack tables and low minimums, all in a cozy space with free and convenient parking. Great restaurant with wonderful food at reasonable prices. I gave up on the other casinos and only go to lakeside nowadays. Dealers make me feel like part of a family.

Very friendly service. Maitre moved to a quieter table even before we ask. Our waitress and support staff were very attentive. Food was excellent and plentiful. Most importantly in s high priced resort area, the prices at The Timbers was reasonable. Great deal on prime rib and lobster!

Inexpensive hotel near Heavenly. We are comfortable bringing our dog. Warm and comfortable rooms but don't expect anything fancy. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Timbers, the restaurant, has really good food. Anything you order will be delicious. The Poker room attracts locals who are really friendly with low price buy-ins.

Finally hospitality that remembers that customer service is a part of the job. Lakeside inn has a rustic decor but clean and inviting. If you arrive late you will be greeted by the friendliest of overnight staff. A great destination with affordable rates and great staff.

Terrible place. Ordered food. Wait over 20 minutes and they told us they threw our food out as they did not recognise us at the bar. Even though we sat in the same place as we ordered. I complained to the management and he said welcome to America. As an American I think we can do much better. Stay well clear of this dump!

Good food! Service is not good. It’s the only place open after 2am-ish... what do you expect? The bartenders know their bar is the only place to go. 3 nights in a row with an unnecessary wait time at the bar. 🤷🏼♀️ but good food 🙄

I have been here a hand full of times, even around 1 am. That alone holds a lot of value for me. The atmosphere is overall welcoming. They make a pretty good burger, however I have had a negative experience with our waitress every time we have came in. My order has been wrong everytime. I am not talking about the main dish, but my side has always been the opposite of what I've asked for and 2 times our appetizer was not what we had ordered. They do not treat me as an equal and that really bothers me. I will say they have a fully stocked bar and that also is a huge plus.
