An absolutely brilliant venue! Went with my father to see the house band and it was the first night of their new set, holsts the planets. They were incredible, the host was funny and relaxed and happy to interact with the audience. 2 surprise singers as well, pretty sure they were just pulled out of the audience. If you're a jazz fan then this is an absolute must to visit. The sheer talent of the performers in the house band cannot be overstated. The venue itself is a short walk from the nearest tube station and relatively easy to find. We didn't eat but the drinks were decent and quite reasonably priced for the area.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Cocktails, food and especially the live music were fantastic. I can highly recommend Ronnie Scott's Jazz Bar for live entertainment. the Jazz Dynamos were playing and they were great. We bought their CD and they were terrific in signing these items for their fans.

My first visit to the legendary Ronnie Scott's and I wasn't disappointed. The quality of the performers is important and I was lucky to see Billy Cobham and the Guy Barker Big Band. Awesome performers and the sell out crowd loved every minute. Music apart it's a great club, you are packed in but the views of the stage are excellent. The late night menu was good value, drink prices reasonable for the area and staff very efficient. Definitely felt more about the music than another tourist trap. Recommended.

There's a reason that this place is so famous. Wonderful vibe, great music, great sound system and mixing (so important) and responsive and unobtrusive service. Yes, yes, yes. We had a wonderful time for our wedding anniversary treat. Thank you!

Iconic jazz bar, surely the most famous in the UK. The quality of music on display here is astonishing. Downstairs is considerably harder to get in to, as it's ticketed, so plan ahead. But the upstairs is on a first come basis, so it's easy enough to go to if you go early enough. A must visit for any jazz lover in London.

Great music. Had to stand which limits the enjoyment. Drinks overpriced but standard for a jazz club. Main event was sold out. Went up stairs for 6 pounds. Music was raw but the performers were very enjoyable. All female performers that night. Music was back to back so very little down time. I bet the main shows are great and I would plan better next time. It is in the Soho area so there is lots to do before and after the show. Staff was not very helpful and seemed to prefer a local crowd over tourists. All in all good music.

Great venue. Excellent music. Average, overpriced food; the small plate nibbles were fine. There are loads of amazing restaurants in Soho right there so eat elsewhere if you can.

Always great music both from the main act and the late show. Upstairs is good fun as well. It's changed a lot from the old days. I miss Monty and Colin on the door. No more of Ronnies so bad they are funny jokes in between sets. Still it retains a special something and the musicians are amazing. Drinks are a bit pricey but it remains my favourite music venue.

I saw the Human Element. Great music, awesome venue! However, some of your staff need customer service training. The two guys standing at the door do not have to be that sour. Tell them to smile a bit, be willing to answer questions, and be more positive. I thought the doors opened 10:00pm instead of 10:30pm and the guy at the door said 'don't you see the time in your ticket?' as if I was the student and he was my teacher... Also, teach the guys in the reception to smile and say 'goodnight, thanks for coming' when people leaving. It will not hurt them to be a little bit more positive and friendly. But, overall fantastic venue and great music.
