I ordered the chicken ($28), and the wife ordered the filet mignon ($44). As neither came with sides, we ordered the truffle mashed potatoes to share ($10).
They apparently had a mix up on the steak - order didn’t get placed or it was not cooked to order, it wasn’t clear to us. Not a big deal to us, as we were in no hurry, but they brought out the chicken and mashed potatoes and a free Caesars salad, so that was nice.
All of the food was very, very good. I especially enjoyed the mashed potatoes. The filet mignon was fantastic.
Surprisingly, they offered us a free dessert as well. Our waiter and the manager helped pick one out for us. It’s one of those layered dessert conflagrations where you pick a base, a topping, an ice cream, and one other item.
This was probably the only disappointing part of the meal. The ice cream component was very skimpy, and the funnel cake component appeared to be overdone.
Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of food and the service. Yes, apparently they screwed up part of the order, but you have to give them credit for making it right.
Fairly loud restaurant - I think they focus more on their beer and wine offerings. They have quite a selection.
