Nothing really special about Rio Hotel. Room is clean and spacious .Close to some tourist sites. Nice Cafe, and Sauna and Casino downstairs.
Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

I would describe my stay at the Rio Hotel as "meh". Nothing too good, nothing too bad. The room was very spacious but definitely shows its age. The reason for the 3 stars is the outrageous checkout experience I had. After I handed in the keys, I was told to wait while they inspected my room before they released the deposit. About 30 minutes later, someone came up to me to tell me that I'm good to go and that I should see the transaction getting cancelled within 4 weeks. I did not quite understand how this process made any sense but oh well, luckily I had time to kill.

Location is walling distance to those tourism spots but easily takes 20-30 min of walking.

Small hotel location is good but bit old need renovation promptly. Too many visitors from China they are not paying attention to the rules such as smoking in non smoking areas like inside a life or in the lobby etc.

Hello everyone.. I am writing this article to share my feelings about this place..
I visited with my friends to Macau and have our 2 night stay in this hotel. On exploring this hotel, we got to know that they have a massage and spa area which is opened for 24 hours.
The best thing about this spa is that you can directly go to this spa and can get a12 hours access to it..
In that time you can eat, sleep and can enjoy the spa any number of times.
Apart from this. You can get some services at some additional price.. they also offer some special services at additional price..
Overall this place is highly recommended..

This is a really comfortable and reasonable hotel to stay in Macau. Services here is very satisfying. There also provide shuttle bus to pick passengers up from the ferry port. Besides, the slot machine casino is inside the hotel itself if you are interested to try your luck.

Just Arrived for three day stay in late October my first impressions need to be posted.
1) notified by reception lady that 1000 MOP deposit on CC will take FOUR weeks to refund. No wait for Cash.
2) no assistance by bellhop to room. Room was pitch dark and hard to find “key slot” to activate light ( near bathroom door). I suggest you ask for a bellhop.
3) I asked for upgrade as everyone on site said they got one. I was told by reception lady the deluxe room would be “ good enough for me” . She was right . Room spacious , slightly dated but clean, however nothing in the mini bar
.
Now off to the sauna.

Absolutely Luxurious and fantastic hotel. To guarantee a gabulous time in Macau, STAY HERE!!! Thisbhotel has large, clean and ultra-comfortable rooms with posh finishing touches and the largest bathrooms I've ever seen in an Asian hotel. The staff are so professional, helpful and genuinely concerned about providing excellent customer service. The rooftop pool and fitness room ahould not be missed because they also have a fabulous view of Macau.
