Great food and entertainment, but no longer open
Bar Louie had a wide variety of excellent food from buffalo totchos (specialty app) to flatbreads, burgers and sandwiches. Sadly, Bar Louie is no longer open at Mohegan Sun Pocono and has been replaced by The Hive Taphouse and TopSuite Golf simulator occupying that space.

Great live music at this bar Louie, and being in a casino it's a great atmosphere. Drinks were decent food was great. Good size portions and prices were not too bad. Loved the loaded tots and chip combos. Heard the sliders were also equally good. Good bar food and less formal atmosphere compared to other places at Mohegan sun.

Went here one night for the first time to have a few drinks after work. My bartender Courtney took care of me for the night and she was the definition of hospitality. When I go to the casino I want hospitality experts but don't usually expect it in my home town but she was the perfect mix of incredibly friendly and sociable and professional. She recommended great drinks and made them flawlessly as well as kept engaged throughout the whole night. I went for a few drinks but stayed at least an extra hour because she made such a great experience. If I will have that kind of experience when I go there I will begin to become a frequent flyer.

The server we had was really good! I think his name was Justin. I have been here only 2 times myself and I was beyond thrilled! Raquel was my first server and she was beyond fantastic as well! The food is great and the service is great! I love it here and you will as well!

Went there yesterday, had a table of 4. Was seated quickly however our waiter was extremely inattentive. We waited a good 10 minutes after we were seated for him to come and take our order. We ordered drinks and an app to start and waited for him to come back to take our actual order. Took him 20 min to come back, and we had to flag down another waitress for him to actually come. He finally took our orders and he never came to check on us. We flagged him down at 6:50 to order more drinks before happy hour ended and he said he’d be right back. Came back at 7:00 and we told him we waved him down earlier so we could get the happy hour price and he said sorry I have other tables. I’m sorry, you could’ve at least given us the half price drink? We waited for 45 min after he said he’d put the order in for our burgers. We asked him how much longer it’d take and his response was I don’t know, I don’t want to tell you 15 min when it might be longer. He said there were 4 tickets ahead of us. There were 2 tables next to us (that had a different waitress) and both came a good 15 minutes after us. They got their food quickly and were even finished before our burgers even came out. We told him we wanted we burgers to go. He said he would tell the cooks to wrap them up for us... and what do you know, 10 minutes later the burgers come out NOT wrapped up in boxes. We had to ask again for them to wrap it up and had to wait even more. Literally the worst experience I’ve had here, and none of us want to come back. I’ve come here at least 15-20 times and we brought 2 new people to come try the place, and their first experience was horrible. Probably won’t come back because I definitely do not want that waiter again.
On the bright side, food is always good, so if you’re willing to wait and aren’t hungry, I’d recommend this place.

Went for my birthday and my wife and I tried some suggested pairings by our Server Candace and had an excellent time with friends. We haven’t laughed so hard or enjoyed ourselves at a restaurant in a long time. Thank you Bar Louie for making us all comfortable in your establishment, providing excellent staff, great food, great drinks, and an all around great experience. Keep up the good work can’t wait to come back again wish we knew when our server was working again! She is going to be our go to anymore we have another birthday coming up with even more people joining.

Sorry Long Review Ahead!!!! A group of mommy friends and I went out for a few drinks and some adult conversation and fun. We decided to give Bar Louie a shot there was only one person in our group who had experienced the food and drinks. We were greeted by a smiling staff and sat quickly with our server Candice greeting us instantly. We all have different tastes in drinks and she was more than helpful answering all of our questions and making sure we were more than happy with the service we were receiving. Being a bunch of moms we don’t get out much and we definitely had a variety of food and drinks to choose from with all different tastes she was amazing at answering all questions and went above and beyond with her service. She made us feel welcomed in the establishment and allowed us to have fun and even joked around with us. She had a great personality and was very relatable which I didn’t expect to find inside of a Casino restaurant and patient. If you want great food, great service, and an all around fantastic time. Stop in and hopefully whoever took the time to read this long review gets this server or one just like her. I read some negative reviews on here and I am glad I went to see for myself this is a recommended spot from now on and I can’t wait to get together again maybe for Burger night next time.

We always have a great time here. The food is great even if it is a bit pricey. For a casino restaurant it's not a huge surprise. The staff is always very friendly, they have great drink options and a fun atmosphere. It's always very clean and the service is pretty quick even when they're busy, which they almost always are! Great place for a night out with friends or a cozy dinner with your SO. Highly recommend!

It sucks. Spent 300 and couldnt even get a beer. Havnt won anythi g at all in over a year and i have to gwt a new card every single time i go in there. I think it is a acam

I love this casino. And I greatest thing is i have great memory when I was alone, lonely, and need some smile on my face on Dec 31, 2012 midnight going to new year day I hit a Jockpot at midnight 12. It was my 1st time. I was soooo happy. And I keep this memory in my heart ?????? thank you casino.
