It's a race track. You can bring your own stuff and picnic. Parking is $5. Not sure of entrance. We did a family thing were we paid and reserved a picnic area. We brought our own food and hung out with family and friends. Spent less then $20 on the horses. Won a few $2 bets and lost a few. Not bad for an entire day. You will find all types of people there. You can buy food and drinks there, but it's can get to be a lot. If you want to save brink your own.

Wonderful day today. Perfect weather, reserved picnic grove, (#10) and many fine people joined the Stirling Elks #2392 for a great start to Father's Day weekend! Areas were clean with plentiful placement of trash and recycle bins. Helpful tellers to place bets in person, or via digital kiosk. Saw the new sports book area... this is looking good!

The ladies at the windows when you first enter are always friendly. It's a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I always have an enjoyable whether it's watching the horses or if I'm there for a different event. I really wish they had a separate smoking section. Non smokers like myself, do not like to smell smoke.

Went here for the jersey shore food truck festival. They also had horse races going on. Parking was $5 and grandstand entrance was $5. Good number of food trucks with seafood, American, mexican and desserts. Lot of seating in the grandstands area. The place was clean and huge. Had a good time.

horse races, with a shine of past glory, lots of locals and happy gamblers hoping that their horse is going to make it. decor from the past but it is a fun horse race moment with real humans doing the betting. little more sunshine inside would be making it a much better experience worth while playing dress up

Great seating and views visible from the grandstands. Well kept grounds and seating areas. The food selection is pretty good as well as the craft local beers. Great for all ages. There is some that will cater to everyone's enjoyment. Great historical construction.

It's always fun at the horse track. The food is decent, the prices are reasonable. They do have valet parking. For a price of course. If you try to park on your own, it is definitely a challenge. But they do have a big parking lot right across the street from the place. Not only that, during the summer months, you can take New Jersey Transit and get off right at Monmouth Park. It's very convenient and it's a short walk over to the track. Leave the car at home, take the train.

Monmouth park is a very good place to hang out with family and friends. I would highly recommend if you love animals or beer. They also have a few places to eat that are popular like the light house and very cheap beer and very fun to gamble there!

Classic race track that is worth a visit even if you do not gamble. It needs everyone's support since we do not want to lose the venue. However, visit sooner rather than later since the track is on life support due to low attendance given all the competition for entertainment dollars.
