I'm re updating my review, As far as the penny machines go in my opinion they have been spot on and much looser than the meadows casino in pa where I'm from. And the machines are very easy to get to and the staff are all great. The keno lets you play as well, I'm more of a keno player still no jackpot which stinks and the free play is extremely low especially if your driving out of state, If the free play was higher I wouldn't mind coming more often. The rooms we're very nice as well. Aside from the low 5 dollar free play I'll still give it a 5 star. Update: Went down last Sunday and lost 600 dollars very fast betting max in the machines and could not hit nothing, Been spending a lot of money there and got a mailer for 5 dollars a week and I drive all the way from near canonsburg pa. I would not go back unless I got 20 a week in free play at the least.

It's unfortunate that this review groups the casino and resort into one. Walking into the lobby gave me a fairly promising first impression, everything was well kept with a live pianist outside of LBV. The woman who checked me in at the front desk could use some work on her customer service skills, but the rest of the staff I came across were very friendly and professional, so I give them a pass. Then we drove to our room... When we arrived at our room we were instantly hit with a musty odor. The carpets were dated and dirty, the toilet and bathroom floor hadn't been cleaned, and the lamps had a thick layer of dust on them. The layout of the room is okay and the size was perfect for a couple, but these rooms are well overdue for a remodel. The rooms get 1.5/5 stars. The casino is well kept and the staff is friendly. There is a huge variety of slots and table games. They have a nice free play program and from what I saw a fairly decent win rate. I would give the casino 4.5/5 stars. As I said, if these reviews were listed separately my rating would have differed. Until then, I would give the resort an overall review of 3/5 stars.

First time stay, but won’t be back. The positives include friendly staff, good food, and non-smoking casino. The resort in general looks and smells old. The lodge rooms are rough. There is nothing “lodge” like or mountain like about this whole place. When booking our rooms the lodge rooms appear to be very similar to the tower rooms... we just thought they were a different style or decor, not a different part of the rest of the hotel. The website is deceiving about this. Had we known there would be such a drastic difference the few extra bucks would have been well spent on the tower rooms. We asked if we could switch to a tower room, but were told they were full and were not offered to be informed if one became available. The lodge rooms were comparable to staying at a cheap motel. The rooms severely need updating. The furniture is beat up, walls dirty and chipped, the sheets had blood stains on them, the pillows smelled like sweat and were very uncomfortable and the coffee was not stocked. It appeared the room was half cleaned after the last guests checked out. We were grossed out. It got worse. The walls were paper thin and we could literally hear everything in the surrounding rooms. The air conditioner sounded like an air plane taking off. The horse races only occur Sunday-Thursday. They had some fun slot machines, but they were tight. All the “big win” announcements were 1-2k. The WiFi is weak and I had to turn it off and use my data. Overall, disappointing stay. I think the hotel room had a lot to do with that, but there are too many other resorts to visit to go back to this one.

Great place. Especially in the card gaming area. Robin, Rodney, in the pit, really made me feel very welcome. I've been away from home for over a month working, they have made my visit here super welcome. Staying at the hotel was very comfortable super clean rooms great check in staff. If you need anything such as towels soap ect. they will get your room super quick. recommend this hotel and casino to everyone

I was here on a 3 casino trip. I loved it. They had great food. There casino room was easier to navigate than any other casino I had been in. The machines were all in neat rows. I liked the set up. We also stayed overnight at the hotel. It was a very nice hotel. Very clean. It was one of the nicest hotels I have been in. I liked being right there at the casino, so I could go anytime I felt like going, all night. I would like to go again.

This place is awful, Don't believe any good review you see. The payouts are not regulated with the state no how. This place is tighter than the lug nuts on a 55 ford no lie. Wheeling Island I've hit several jackpots on keno and not 1 here, even the dollar machines do absolutely nothing. Free play is extremely cheap and I drive over a hour away for 5 to 10 a week, Meadows has now been picking up and actually winning more for me and it's close. You'll do better at the local cafes if your a keno player.

My wife and I went here last week and had a blast! The people were VERY polite and helpful! I guess it didn't hurt that we walked out of there $800.00 richer!!!

Tiny casino, lots of slots, but only a few tables. I love craps and they've only had one table open when I go. It's nicer since they did away with smoking though!

They took away the poker promotion on Friday night so when we went down to play they only had one table going with 6 people on the list. We had to stand in line at the restaurant because the offer buffet and regular menu and everyone there wanted buffet for crab legs and we just wanted the regular menu but we had to stand in line anyway. They should really reconsider that. They already have 2 ways to get into the restaurant so why not have a buffet like and a menu line? They don't get enough new slot machines in, their whole upstairs is basically empty which used to be full. They need slots back up there. I won't comment on the hotel as we didn't stay this time. I will say what they charge for a room especially on the none tower side is ridiculous though. It's a place to go if you want slots and table games and you don't want to travel to Pittsburgh or Cleveland.
