I realize any well used table can go wicked wobbly at any time, it started when we were moved further back in a bit noisy area. So many waiters, assistants & busboys wonder how could get walked by so often, A young waitress in training ultimately ended up saving our hunger whereas the original waiter never came back, just got used to loudly snatching who ever would come by. Watching several others seated & served after really suck, but finally, really later like 45 minutes when our food came: wife ordered simple grilled Mahi Mahi that was spoiled claimed flown in daily & I ordered half roasted chicken with half done rice that was decent but both over priced: $14 & $40.00. Finally asked for manager who tried to make better as ended replacing farm Salmon that was decent & offered free mediocre desert but unplanned 2 plus hour In my mind I can wait tell Chef Ede' Natural Erogrostis Tef Acorn Squash White Turkish Fig Bread comes to a restaurant near you soon. Two stars because they tried & $5.00 tip on nearly a hundred bucks should send the message with straight faced emoticon. Thank Goodness no sickness this morning.

We ate here 7/5/14 and it was the best dining experience we have ever had. We've worked in fine dining as servers for years and are very critical of service and good. The service was top notch- our server Frank was amazing and the support staff was on top of it- filled water glasses at 2/3 full, cleared plates right away. Frank was knowledgable and patient- we dined for 3 hours and he never rushed us once. We got oysters, frog legs, escargot, filet, crab legs, crab bisque, crab Mac and cheese, and onion rings. All were top notch! We loved that the atmosphere was relaxed yet the service was stellar. If you are looking for a quiet, dark, typical "fine dining" experience this is not it. But if you want a fun laid back atmosphere with friendly and quality service, you won't be disappointed!

Fun spot in a great area. Not much available for vegetarians. I ordered a veggie only plate and it was very basic. Not much flavor. My brother had the fish and said it was just "good". Nothing to write home about.

Amazing city bar that if you have reservations is a great place to enjoy a fine evening of seafood dining. The calamari is perfect with cocktail sauce and a bit of white horseradish. Amazing. Obviously the steaks are great and any season sea food makes it a very exquisite place to dine. One of may favorites.

My wife and I love to eat dinner here at the bar. The food is so good and the atmosphere is amazing. John and Greg behind the bar make this our favorite place to unwind. She likes seafood and I like red meat - Hugo's has us covered.

Excellent food. You will always know that you will have excellent service with generous portions. Servers are knowledgeable of the menu and are very courteous of customers requests. The decor is much like an elegant fishing boat. It's great for corporate dinners and family meals.

Went to Hugo Frog's for my birthday, and loved their filet migno. We had their "Meaining of Life Cake" and it was a gigantic slice that will feed a family of 4, definitely found something to live for. As an appetizer had their crab cakes, and they were also excellent. Great place to celebrate a special occassion.
