New setup was great idea for parking but the ride and medway seemed scattered and less centralized. I am handicapped and walk with a cane. Some of the area leaving back of forum to get to medway is uneven, potholed or full of water hoses or electrical cords making it a hard travel for disabled or handicapped fair goers. I actually rolled my ankle trying to cross a group of these leaving the door at back of forum, maybe rubber mats to bridge these? I suggest more benches or tables throughout the grounds for rest breaks for elderly walkers.
The man who announced the truck pulls was terrible. He kept announcing a 2004 Chevrolet all night. It was clearly a Dodge truck, not a Chevy. He also called two other pull trucks a 77 Ford. Neither of them were a 77. Another announcer needs to be chosen.
The fair is a great experience for all. Come check out the livestock, and farming exhibitions. Little Farmers at the Fair is a great treat for children walking age to about 8.
Most fairs and festivals are held during the daytime hours-not this one! All the exciting things happen when after dark! Hot air ballons are flown in and land in a big field where they proceed to light them up in a pitch black sky! It's really something to see!
