The Pirates Cove

Best bar around the river. Frindely people and a great stay. Its near the river and can launch boats if needed, and you can go into the river for a nice quick stay.

The Pirates Cove

Greater than the average river beach corner stop. The fun loving atmosphere gets the party started. Friendly staff who are very easy on the eyes. They talk to everyone as if they were regulars customers. Very clean comfortable seating and restrooms. Fan water misters help ease the desert heat. Lots of shade, lots of positive vibes. Good timed

The Pirates Cove

Loved coming here on the boat, cool little hidden spot to hang, swim, eat, listen to music, relax, drink and enjoy the river inlet. The Cabins are cool, want to reserve one next time!

The Pirates Cove

Nice place, food wasn't all that good. Burger tasted like old dry meat and fries were way over cooked. Chicken tenders we're over cooked and dry as well. Has patio seating by the water but that's about it. Nothing special. Kinda like a Hooters but much more expensive.

The bar was fun with great service. Food was just OK, just your average bar food. Camped in the tent area, was more than adequate, showers are roomy and clean although a set water temp, but warm enough.

The Pirates Cove

If you like an unmanaged, soft sand, cramped, noisy place to stay this is the place. They do not listen to complaints from you when you stay there. It is a very boring place to stay unless you have a boat and do not mind very busy river. There is nothing closer than an hour away to get supplies. The bar closes at 6pm even on Friday and Saturday night. We will not ever be staying here again. It is also way expensive for what you get.

Currently on second day of three night stay, rooms are awesome, as well as location. I have read some reviews about overcharging at checkout, so i will try to update review later to give my opinion on the matter. But i really like the place so far.

The Pirates Cove

We stayed at Peninsula campsite 22H & I which were close to the water and had some nice shade. Campsites are pretty large and mostly are on sand. Some sites require some maneuvering to back in as they are slanted in the opposite direction as you pull in. The resort has a nice camp store and shuttle service in case you don’t have a vehicle to drive. It was really windy most of our stay, so prepare to batten down the hatches if required.

The Pirates Cove

Nice enough place, with lots of improvement work going on in back. But I sure hope they plan to Fix the entrance road once you're down the hill & entering the resort proper. Looks & feels like abandoned pavement. Go slow with those trailers folks! Sites out back are on dirt roads of course, not a bad thing. If you want a campsite Literally on the river, this is the place. Be aware, the restaurant on site has a limited menu. If you want more choices you'll need to drive at least as far as Needles. We were just visiting friends from Idaho this time around.
