It's decent. Clean, nice facilities, but while I was expecting to be wowed a little considering its star status, it was simply adequate. Nobody went above and beyond, it was simply average rooms and service. Free parking was the best perk.

I stayed at the River Rock for three nights, and it was nearly perfect. It was incredibly convenient to get there via the Skytrain; the station literally connects directly to the hotel. Check-in was a breeze, and the room was spacious and pretty modern. The only thing lacking for me was that there were no outlets on the nightstands. Despite being right in the flight path of landing jets, the room was quiet. WiFi was quick and easy to connect to. This might be bizarre to comment on, but the elevators are the fastest I've ever used. I never waited more than 10 seconds after pushing the button before one arrived, despite being on the 12th floor. Incredibly efficient!

Nice rooms, very clean upon checkin. They have an incentive program where if you dont get your room made up and things replaced every day they give you food and beverage vouchers.. Really cuts down on unecessary power and water use. Good eco friendly idea. We checked in the main hotel lobby (the side with the casino in it) and the service was very slow and a bit disorganized. When we checked out, we did so in the other lobby of "The Hotel" and service was great. Friendly and prompt.

Four stars because of its location. The hotel is connected to the skytrail making it super easy to travel around. Good for travellers who don't drive. Room is clean.

Comfortable at a reasonable rate. Easy access to downtown Vancouver via Skytrain - daily pass is $10.

It didn't seem possible to control the temperature in the room. Switching from bathtub to shower is a bit of a trick. The rooms themselves are comfortable.

Cool place but if your looking to light up in the casino, think again. No smoking and no wondering from casino to your room with a cocktail. This hotel and casino is government run (not Indian) and they have very strict policies.
