Vitality Café

I was not really pleased with the amount of food I got for the money, even though it did taste really good. I had to wait almost 20 minutes for some avocado toast and a salad at a take out place, which, even for Miami, was a bit excessive.

The acai bowl was okay. My husband and I thought that a place like Miami would have the best of the best acai bowls but not so much. $15 for an acai bowl I definitely expected more. Back home, that being Michigan, has better bowls by far. That being said awesome staff and great service!

Visited this establishment around noon time on a Sunday. Ordered an Omelet with Salmon, the 1st time they served the Omelet with the salmon as a side dish instead of being a part of the Omelet. Okay , they redid my ordered promptly, however the crisp of the Omelet was extremely thin and the vegetables inside were not properly mixed in the Omelet, it seemed like they were in a rush to get the order out. Lastly, as a place that aims to convey itself as a "French" bakery/restaurant, they serve their coffee with a boxed packed creamer as default, similar to a 7-Eleven or the local bank. They did provide us with real milk upon request, but I would expect them to serve real milk to all guests who order coffee

Café Promenade

I come to this place at least twice a month. I drive from homestead to here. Always, always a great experience, but no today. Today was totally different, the waitress had a really bad attitude when we asked her for a different table, she said that was for 4 person not for 2. She rolled her eyes. Was a really bad feeling because never before that happens in this restaurant . We left and I think that I'm not going to come back.

The food was really good, but a bit pricy. The orange juice that did come with the meal was truly fresh and the baguette was soft and fluffy. The empanadas are large - full of filling and flavor. I may return to enjoy some of the other pastries since they for look really good and more moderately priced. I also had no issues with the service.

All flash and no substance. Place was dead and at 8pm the kitchen was closed? All the available baked goods in the case can be found at better quality and cheaper prices down the street at pinecrest bakery. Save your money, the free market will take care of this place soon enough

They try hard to sell the French theme, but it is a poor attempt at a French breakfast. You can tell pretty quickly the quality of the food is low, and the waiters and waitresses have little to no knowledge of French culture. They all also have attitudes. The tables and setup and insignificant to have a proper breakfast. Very unhappy with this place. Would highly recommend going somewhere else. Probably will never return here.
