Construction, no payout, limited number of machines. Did I say NO payout...some machines need maintenance. We had fun but it was over very quickly.

This is a cool little place in beautiful place in Ruidoso downs NM. We stayed across the street at the Best Western pines. The hotel was very nice, and Cozy.. My wife and myself spent our anniversary this year in Ruidoso and we loved it.
I have to say I had an awesome time at the Billy The Kid Casino, but honestly the bar next to the casino was a small, but great hangout.. My wife and myself had fun betting on the simulcast horse races, but I have to admit the best part of our evening, and the next evening as well was meeting Don the bartender there. I must say Don was truly a great bartender and person, he treating every single person that walked into that place like they were close friends, or maybe even family. He was very courtious, friendly, professional, and gave every single person positive vibes. I truly enjoyed the conversations we had, and his awesome way of doing business and making new friends. If you are ever in Ruidoso stop by and see Don, and you will know exactly what I am talking about.. Thanks Again Don you are awesome and we will be back soon..

Went for supper and dancing due to the specific band that was booked.
Very satisfied with the entire experience. Recommend scheduling of more dates with the Graham Brothers or similar Country Dance bands be done in the future. Place was packed with a crowd there just because of the dancing opportunity.

I have lived here for 19 years this race season and worked one summer 16 years ago and it's the first time that there's real improvement. The only thing that has changed is the casino was always very welcoming and is why alot of people enjoyed going, now it's not quite the same, not everyone seems to be so kind to everyone that goes just to certain people, but you're doing a beautiful job

Everything thing was better than before, not so old, they just need a kiosk to turn tickets in, the line gets to long at the cashier alot, if there is another person behind the counter they are are the phone or just messing around instead of helping customers!!

Small, smokey, and took a hundred bucks in just a few minutes. Definitely not a place you will win at

Great variety of machines but they don't seem to pay anything. I never have had any luck since they switched to TITO (Ticket In Ticket Out) Back when you could put coins in the machines is when I had the best luck.
