Have stayed in brand hotels all over the U.S., Asia, and Europe and this was not a hotel I would ever recommend to family & friends. Hotel bar was at least a 30 minute wait during weekend afternoon, when bartenders were letting other patrons cut who had previously ordered drinks or food. We had given the front desk our number to call when the room was ready, and heard nothing does several hours, we went to check on the status with the front desk and said a room was ready immediately. As a gold member of this company, I never felt like a valued customer. And if given the opportunity I would not stay here again.

I really love coming up to Santa fe and staying at this casino. The rooms are always clean and nice. I enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools. The only suggestion I have is to have more restaurants open during the week and longer business hours. I have stayed here 3 times and enjoyed every trip. My whole experience coming to buffalo thunder resort and casino has been outstanding!!

Room was ok. Sink drained slow and toilet barley flushed. Pretty clean though. Facilities are nice. Our event was handled well. Catered food was not so great. Casino was nice. Craps table was hot!

We had one of the best vacations at the Hilton Santa Fe Blue Thunder we spent 4 nights for our 39th wedding anniversary. The staff was so friendly went out of their way to make sure we had a great vacation! Our room was clean we had a fireplace in the living room and a fireplace in the bedroom the bathroom was huge the bed was so comfortable our views were amazing and it was only 15 miles from Santa Fe so we could stay out of the traffic and have fun out in the mountains. Check them out next time you're in Santa Fe!

We were disappointed in our stay at the Hilton Buffalo Thunder. The drain was completely pulled out of our shower. We went to the pool at night and there was caution tape on the jacuzzi as well as no towels. There was no one from the hotel to be found. I had to call the front office twice and was told the towels were in the washer. I then had to ask them to bring out bath towels for the guests if they didn't have clean pool towels. I went and spoke with the manager about it and he didn't seem to care and never came out to the pool area to make sure it was taken care of.

My mom had a business conference at a nearby 5 star resort. The price was 10x cheaper and we all agreed that we were glad we stayed at Blue Thunder instead. The resort is pet friendly, so we could even bring our dog, which was a huge plus. They even had a grassy area and a fenced in area where she could run around. They have sculptures, paintings, and a variety of other artworks done by indigenous artists, all of which are available for purchase. There is also a lot to do - they have indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a 27 hole golf course, a bunch of restaurants, a gift shop, a sweets shop with delicious gelato, and a casino, among other things. All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to those who have the money and are traveling in the area.

My only complaint would be that we didn't get a room with a view, I could have called the front desk and I bet they would have moved us if I had asked so I cant really blame the hotel for that. He did put us super close to the pool which was nice. The place was beautiful, nice pools, nice staff, and the area is so pretty. We were in a ground floor room so we couldnt see the mountains but the grounds are spectacular too, so it was fine. We will come back if we come through Santa Fe again.

The Enchantment Suite is beautiful. We absolutely loved it. One downside was there are no microwaves in the rooms. If you need to warm anything up, you can go to the front desk and there is one there. It wasn't very clean at all. The casino is nice. Please note: this is not a non-smoking casino. The location is about 15 minutes from the historic Santa Fe Plaza! This area is nice! Full of shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and museums! If you like ordering in, Pizza 9 is it; believe me, it's not Chicago Style deep dish pizza as advertised. LOL. We were not impressed with the help of some of the front desk staff; very distracted and rushed while others were very helpful. It's a resort! Unless you're an adventure, everything is right there that you need; however you will pay for it. ($$$). Santa Fe is beautiful but remember everything closes early.

This casino has it all. From slots and great table games in the casino to entertainment and great food. We like craps and played quite a few times. We find this the most entertaining because everyone plays against the casino and when you win everyone wins! We came in and out of town and every time we stopped by their was a craps table open! So much fun. Classy place. Everybody was very friendly. Thanks!!

Didn't stay at the hotel or eat in a restaurant. Went there just to gamble. Wife had called asking about table games. Was told had lots including 3 card poker. That was not true. 4-5 blackjack a couple of weird "poker" games. So if you are not into slots or blackjack (they did have one craps table) you are out of luck. Which seems to be the case of New Mexico casinos that I've seen.
