Blue Bayou Bar & Grill

The Silver Slipper Casino is a true diamond nestled in waveland. The service I received was a great experience. The staff is quick to help and answers questions with precision. Inside is a beautiful place full of fun and adventure if your new to casinos or just bouncing around. I highly recommend this as a stop on a trip through or if your just an explorer looking for new places. You will not be dissatisfied.

Blue Bayou Bar & Grill

My Mother wanted to try the buffet for her birthday after hearing it was ranked #1. For starters, unlike the other casinos along the coast, it's not right off the highway, but a lengthy 20-minute drive down rural roads. The parking structure is small and cramped, but we eventually found a spot. Upon entering, the front door person was pleasant enough, and pointed us towards the Buffet. We arrived to see that the line was all the way across the casino floor, and ended at the bathrooms. I asked a server there how long she anticipated the wait to be, and she said easily an hour. Well, my 78 year-old mother can't stand in a line for that long, so we decided to try the Blue Bayou Bar and Grill. We explained we didn't have reservations, but needed someplace for my Mother to sit down for dinner. Despite the restaurant having hardly any patrons, and many unused tables, the hostess said the next available reservation was three hours later, at 8 PM. After that, we promptly left, and went to Beau Rivage which we should have simply gone to in the first place. It's bigger, nicer, and has much better clientele.

The good? Monday Tuesday Wednesday the buffet is 18 bucks for all you can eat crab. The bad? You might have to wait in line an hour before being seated. Additionally, I have been there several times, and they are really chintzy with the drinks. I spent $471 in slot play ( lost $112). In all that time of slot play, I received one free beer. I tipped two bucks, but that did not give the waiter any incentive to come back. Getting a drink while playing his ridiculously difficult. Try other casinos who seem to want your business more than the Silver Slipper

The crabs were AWFUL! Broke one open and it smelled just like ammonia! Told the manager, who did not seem surprised at all, he said he would put on a fresh batch. At that point, we all stopped eating them except for my husband. In the middle of the night he woke up sick and vomiting. Continued into the day. Tonight the vomiting has stopped but still feels terrible. We've always had good experiences there but this was BEYOND BAD! THE CRABS WERE TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAN USUAL! WERE DONE!

This review applies to the buffet only. The casino was fun even if the payouts seemed low. With high expectations after seeing reviews we were horribly disappointed. The line moved fairly quickly but it still took us almost an hour to be seated. Most casinos have at least triple the seating. The place was filthy in the seating areas. Fluid spilled on floor went untouched, and we didn't dare touch any horizontal service after the first one was so sticky I almost didn't get my hand back. The table staff never checked back with us, I had to go hunt somebody down to get my ice tea refilled. Anything fried had so much breading on it you couldn't find the food inside. The crab legs were mostly empty, the steamed shrimp were overdone repeatedly, and other offerings were minimal. The beef was OK, and the deserts were good. The cook staff was friendly and attentive but I wish I hadn't tipped the waitress at time of purchase. I guess she figured she got hers so the heck with us. The only person on the floor doing their job was a young man busing tables, I thanked him and tipped him. He never stopped working the whole time we were there. I can not understand that they were ever voted the best in MS with all of the great buffets in Biloxi. Stay away.

Loved our stay. Love the pool, buffet, and restaurant. My only complaint is that you can't get away from the smoke! Wish they had designated areas for smoking in the facility. Anytime we wanted to go anywhere, we had to walk through the smoked filled facility. If you are looking for a small casino atmosphere without a huge crowd, this is the place to go. Beach is very private and exclusive for guests staying at the hotel. Enjoyed the buffet, except for the very long line, but it moved fairly quickly. The snow crabs were tasty but the Dungeness crabs were way to salty to enjoy. The buffet truly had a large selection of other foods that were satisfying. Great weekend getaway!

I don't gamble so this is just a review of the Jubilee Buffet. We went on a Monday Night (half price night). It was crowded and a wait but it was well worth it. The food is delicious. We went mainly for the crab legs and they did not disappoint! Nice salad bar. Don't skimp on the funnel cake station! You can get a large or small and choose your toppings. I got powdered sugar, strawberry topping and topped it off with vanilla ice cream. Yum!! Staff is helpful and works as a team. Someone is constantly offering to clear your table. Would definitely recommend!

This is one of my favorite spots on the MS Gulf Coast since moving here 8 years ago. It's not a huge casino, but has all the perks and amenities as the larger ones. There are several choices of restaurants from high end to a quick cafe. Although I do enjoy the larger casinos this is my all time favorite on the Gulf Coast. The atmosphere is great. The entertainment is a lot of fun. The bartenders are good and have access to the higher end liquor if that's what you prefer. The buffet has a great deal of choices and selections. Comps are great for such a small casino. Now the casino has a hotel. This place just keeps getting better. It's a little out of the way for most tourists. It's a sweet spot for locals though!
