Very long time customer going back to when place was called Wine's. Always liked the comfortable feeling, friendly staff and neighborhood vibe. Last few visits we have had server Mike. Not sure if it's his usual personality or he has an issue with us but he is unfriendly, inattentive and bordering on rude. I know it's not due to poor tipping because we always overtip. Unfortunately it seems that Mike is always the server when we go to CJ's. Wish we coordinated our visits with Rob's schedule since he is GREAT! and the best worker in CJ's. In the future, when Mike is waiting tables, will sit at the bar to avoid him. Lots of pubs in our area, we can easily find another local spot rather than become aggravated by a bad attitude.
Not bad. Friendly Staff. Package Goods. Full bar. Decent food with decent specials. More a locals place. Popular with post softball games and teams. Good for sports. Breakfast is good. If in the area and interested in a "neighborhood" spot check it out
We've been to CJs many times over the years, mostly to purchase liquor. The selection is small but very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Now that they have a wider good service, we need to try that. The location itself has good ample parking, easy access from the road, and the inside is clean and well laid-out.
I'm 46 and always the youngest guy in the place. The atmosphere is odd...way too bright. They need to dim the lights to complete the "dive bar" vibe. Food is good and prices are fair.
