Casino Comp Questions with Craig Vol. 5

Why doesn't URComped work with Carnival?

We don't have a contract with them currently. We work with a couple of their sister brands, Princess and Holland America. Carnival has a huge database already, because a lot of people take their first cruise with them, because they have a lot of shorter cruises and a lot of ports. Maybe they feel like they don't need more players at the moment, but we know some good people who work there, and maybe someday we will work with Carnival.

If I am active with Royal, when can I book a Royal Caribbean cruise through URComped?

If we booked you on your first cruise with Royal Caribbean, which I'd say is most of our customers, then you don't need to worry about this. We're going to be able to book you as many times as you want. But, if you use you have a direct relationship with Royal, we can book you on a cruise 12 months from your last sail date with Royal. My casino only gives me land based and airfare offers. Will that count towards URComped?

Absolutely! Any offer you have will help you with URComped and get you comped on your first trip. If you have an offer from a different cruise line, that's usually the best. We are going to use your offers to the best of our ability to get you a COMP.

Can kids get comped on Royal Caribbean?

It is typically true that Royal Caribbean won't comp children. Generally all the comps are a comp for two adults. If it's one adult and one child, typically they would just comp the adult. Obviously, there's exceptions for huge players, in which they'll probably comp the child. If it's your first trip on Royal Caribbean, and we're getting the comp for you, they would ask the child to be paid for. But, once you establish your play with Royal Caribbean, there's obviously exceptions for really big players. That's the marching orders we've been given, because the casino doesn't want to comp somebody that's not a gambler.

What kinds of offers can I upload to URComped?

If you have taken a trip with URComped, then the offers uploaded don't really matter anymore. Once you take a trip, then we have real play data that your offers from us are going to be based on. Your offers will go up or go down based on the average of your past few trips.

If you haven't taken your first trip through URComped, then what we do to qualify you and prove to our casino partners that you're a player, is we look at the offers that you upload to your account. With our emphasis being much more cruise focused, we look more at cruise offers than offers from land based casinos. At this point, you can upload any kind of offer you've received - Free play, Cruise offers, Land Based Casino offers. We can accept them and get the best offer we can for you.

Will my URComped offers change if I receive a certificate from my land based casino?

URComped would not know that you got that certificate, so it would be a good idea to send it to us. Sometimes people think that because they send us an offer, then we've got access to that all their offers from that casino. If you receive a cruise or any other type of certificate, definitely send it to us, because that could unlock new offers for you from URComped. If you have not bee on a URComped trip, send them in, and potentially it could unlock something better, especially if it is a cruise offer.

What Vegas Casinos does URComped work with?

From a contract perspective, we work with a lot: The Venetian, Palazzo, the SLS, which is under new ownership and is light years better than it was even a year ago, all the Caesars properties, the Cosmo, the M Resort, Golden Nugget Downtown, the Boyd properties Downtown, and the Orleans off the strip. We have a lot of partners in Vegas, but we don't actively promote them.

Moving forwards that, especially with M resorts. Once you've taken a trip with URComped on a cruise or at one of our Caribbean properties we we are actively promoting, then you can ask your URComped host, "I'm thinking about going to Vegas, can you set me up?"  Based on your level of play and what you are interested in, we will put you at the casino that's the best fit. (Golden Nugget is always an option.)

Definitely, by Quarter 4, we should have a lot more Vegas offers. For now, if you taken a URComped trip, you can ask your host about Vegas.

Not sure what URComped is?

URComped works with Casino Partners to give Qualified Members new offers (comps) to Caribbean Resorts and Cruise Lines that they have never been to/ played at before. Think you may be qualified?? SIGN UP (ITS FREE) upload offers that you've received from either land based casinos or cruise lines to see what NEW COMPS you qualify for!

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria

Amazing pizza, great service, well kept restaurant. Bianca pizza isn't dry at all and had a nice hint of garlic. Everything is well priced and the portions are huge. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area.

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria

We travel to Vegas each year for business and have always made a point to eat here. Their new location isn't as convenient as the location on the strip, but the food is well worth the trip. Pizza dough is fresh, as is the mozzarella, and toppings. We've never had a bad experience here.

800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria

I’ve been to 800 Degrees several times over the past few years. This was my first visit to this location. The pizza was the best I’ve had from any 800 Degrees location. The crust was slightly crispy around the rim, soft and delicate in the center, nicely charred on the the bottom. One of the three pizzas we ordered was a little burnt on one side. The dining room was smaller than I expected. The furnishings were inconsistent with typical 800 Degmrees locations, more like a truck stop diner. The staff was not especially outgoing, but they were quick. I would go again.
