Visited Jockey Club, it's a simulcast horse racing (betting).
Unless make a tremendous changes to accommodate horse racing fans and an average publics, this place will go down in tubes. Make this place a small casino (300 - 500 slot machines), add buffet restaurant, snack stand, etc... If a city of Rohnert Park approved to build Graton casino, then city of Santa Rosa should copy.

Very fun. My family and I usually come in the summer for all the rides food and more. And for low prices too. Bathrooms are tidy in my opinion. A big food variety. Games also. I recommend coming

This is a Fairgrounds holding alot of diverse Events. Located near Santa Rosa, CA. Easy parking, motels and restaurants near by. Watch their Events list, lots to do!!

Visited Jockey Club (simulcast horse racing). Reason for visiting was to watch (on TV) and betting of Santa Anita Derby at Arcadia (Southern California). Place was almost empty (about 100 people). They have lost popularity of horse racing in Santa Rosa area maybe due to Graton casino in Rohnert Park was build 4-years ago. Make this place a small casino with 300 - 500 slot machines then it will pick-up business. Also add a buffet restaurant and snack bar. By the way this coming Saturday the May 5th is the "Kentucky Derby" and once a year this place will be packed (more than 500 people). Doors open at 7:15am, seating is limited (first come first serve) at general area except if you rather seat at clubhouse admission is $5.00 more (reserved table). My pick for this years' Kentucky Derby winner is "Audible" 6/1 or "Justify" 3/1, so my bet will be post position #5 (Audible) and #7 (Justify) exacta box.
This note is added on 5/5/18 @ 10:00am; I just noticed that both #5 and #7 horses have same owners yet #5 Audible is trained by Todd Pletcher (top 3 trainer in East Coast) and #7 Justify is trained by Bob Ba

This note is added on 5/6/18 @ 5:00pm; for Preakness Stakes (5/19/18 at Pimlico), my pick is "Justify", most likely odds will drop to around 7/5 or 8/5 favorite. Don't know how many horses will be running yet, around 10-horses??? Either way, does not matter because Justify can run taking a lead or off-pace. Question is by how many lengths Justify will win by. My guess would be 7 to 10 lengths. 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
This is added on 5/12/18; Preakness Stakes on 5/19/18 at Pimlico, Justify's odds is 3/5 (favorite) is much less than I thought it would be 6-days ago. As stands now it will be 10-horse field for now, but it could change to fewer than 10-horses then Justify's odds could drop more like 2/5.
Add this note on 5/17/18; Odds of Justify is now 1/2 favorite. Total 8-horse field and weather forecast will rain so track will be wet-fast-track meaning faster running time expected. Justify is post #4. More than half of fields (horses) have similar running style as Justify. Hard to predict who will finish 2nd. My pick, of course "JUSTIFY".😄😄😄😄

5/20/18 @ 5:30AM; "JUSTIFY" won Preakness Stakes, odds were 2/5 in wet-fast-track with fields of eight wire to wire fashion.
Add this notes on 5/27/18 @ 7:45pm; After reviewing the "Past Performances" of the all horses enter in the 2018 Belmont Stakes on 6/9/18, "Justify" is only horse with front (taking lead) running style and all others with closing styles except for 1-horse with stalking style. My pick will be "Justify" to win the "Triple Crown" but hard to guess 2nd place finisher. Odds as of now for "Justify" is 4/5 (whereas in Preakness Stakes 2/5), odds went up only because 1-1/2 mile distance race (longer than KY Derby & Preakness). Oh, "Audible" has withdrawn from race. Total of 9-horses has enter in Belmont Stakes, post positions will be determine at later date.
6/6/18 @ 7:00am; Justify's post position is #1 with 4/5 track odds with fields of 10-horses.
Saturday June 9th., weather forecast is scattered showers. All 3 Triple Crown Races in the rain. Trainer of Justify, Bob Baffert has enter another horse in Belmont Stakes ?????
Weather forecast at Elmont, NY is "cloudy - 75° at the time of race" (revised 6/9/18 @ 8:40am).
Justify won Belmont Stakes with odds of 4/5.

Not too bad they have regular restrooms. Highly enjoyed myself nice place to visit

Parking $9. Event space is large and easy to move around in. Food..might be good, usually have one or two vendors. Last event Greek plate was $15 I passed.
