It was a good atmosphere, not too smoky. However, it was very busy and kind of crammed even for a regular day. I also felt that new players like myself were losing their money offly fast. I saw people with higher level playing cards winning way more often. Also there was no free slot play for new members. Most places give something. My money didnt last long no matter what machine I was sitting at.

It's the only one around. So it doesn't pay out alot. You do get 5 dollars for your birthday. I used to love going there until I went to KC and now I won't give them all my money. I paid enough light bills for them. Try KC it's worth the drive.

It's the only physical casino in St Joseph, Mo. Odds are not bad here surprisingly. Don't expect to win your money back though when you drop in a couple hundred dollars, you will most likely lose. Lots of slot machines to choose from. Buffet with decent food, only decent though. If visiting often the rewards pay off with coupons and cash to play the games with. Like most casinos expect the gaming area to be full of cigarette smoke.

Mississippi Stud table never seems to be open. Yesterday was my second trip down this month to find they didn't have enough dealers to open the table. This was at 2 on a Saturday afternoon. Pit boss said it would be 4 PM at best offered free buffet if I would stand around 2 more hours.... Had people waiting in line for Texas shootout. Other casinos 45 min away that keep their tables open or are willing to open them if you ask. Maybe you need to up your payscale to hire more dealers if that is why you don't have any on Saturdays

I enjoy going there, but the machines are very tight. Yes they post "the latest jackpot winners", but don't let that fool you. the odds are very much against you here, I've been many times. the jackpot winners are the exception, definitely not the rule. Sure if you drop 10 grand you MIGHT win $1200.... which they will tout and say SEE you CAN win. LOL. Just came back from there tonight after not going for a week. Machines are way tighter. I spent over a $1000.00 and was able to win $80.00. This has happened several times. Save your money. You won't win. Lots of hype, but you will not win. If you go anyway, you have been warned....

Too crowded. No room to push through to move around casino floor to different slot machines. Bathrooms are nice & clean. Food at cafe on Casino floor was great!

Casino is much smaller than I thought it would be. There is a smaller selection of slots than you will find at the Kansas City casinos. It is a nice casino in the St. Joseph area. Definitely worth visiting and giving it a try.

A good local casino for a fun afternoon or evening. Located near water front recreation. Has tons of parking and on the local bus line. Has function rooms available and nightly dinner specials in the buffet restaurant

I've been coming here for about 3 months here and have visited/spent enough to have a silver club card now. This casino has a wide variety of slots and several table games. Expect to see blackjack with a $5 and a $10 table, a $5 mini craps table, and various other card games such as Texas Shootout and other similar table games. Two games which the casino does not have are baccarat and poker (including Texas Hold 'Em). There are two roulette tables, a $5 automatic roulette table and a $10 traditional table, both 00. The $10 is rarely open due to lack of dealers, the best time to find it open is on weekends, but even then don't expect to see it open.
I can honestly say that I've been very disappointed with this casino. Do not expect to see any form of comps. The only free thing you should expect are free soft drinks. Don't expect to ever be offered a free 'hard' drink unless you're dropping a lot of money one particular night. Every other month, you might get a flyer in the mail for $10 worth of free slot play. Other than that, nothing.
Staff can be hit and miss. Unfortunately, there are never enough dealers around so it can be rather difficult to get it on table games. Expect to be on a waiting list for most card games and the miniature craps table is usually so packed that they don't even offer a waiting list because there isn't enough turnover for you to get in there anyways.
If you can't afford the gas to get down to a Kansas City casino, it's an okay place to spend an evening. You'll still have some fun, but if you can make it to a better casino, you should.
